Weinberg & Schwartz have an excellent team. I was very lucky to have worked with Jolie Weinberg in particular. Jolie is an excellent attorney – she came recommended to me from my contacts in local public education where I served on and chaired a number of committees for PTA and the Board of Education. She is very well known and respected in those circles. After a long and drawn out contested divorce a decade and a half ago – it is difficult to even compare “life before” and “life after” her expert support. Jolie is exceptionally gifted at using the law as the tool it was intended for – to “heal” or “make one whole” As a single father with two daughters in tow – and a former spouse who seemed to wish to use the Court as a tool to punish us in any possible manner for leaving an abusive situation – Jolie was exceptionally brilliant. My daughters have grown up to be professionals and are now happy and secure – and I owe the most instrumental phases of this to Jolie and her expert navigation to achieve a trio of happy and productive lives. This is such a stark and sharp contrast to the previous tumultuous life that we had endured before our new rich life… Ms. Weinberg has clearly earned a huge cache of “karma points” in her career….. Mrs. Weinberg and her staff are by far the best firm to have your back and support you when you are going through a horrible process of separating. The last thing you want to worry about during a divorce is, "is my lawyer strong, determined, always going to find the best resolution for me....?" Mrs. Weinberg is all that and more. She is-always concerned with her clients needs and wishes. I can't speak highly enough of her, but she really was the best phone call I ever made!

My wife had filed for divorce, so I went to a big downtown law firm and they pointed me to their divorce lawyer. It was not a match made in heaven. I didn't feel like he was believing what I told him, even though all the facts that I supplied had been proven correct. It was time to get a new lawyer and this time I was going to do the research. I made appointments with three different lawyers, Amos Whitney being the first. Upon entering his office I was facing a man who looked like Superman, but wearing his Clark Kent disguise. He was very confident and believed in me right away. He was even ten dollars an hour cheaper. I cancelled the other two appointments, I had found my lawyer. The divorce process can be humiliating and frustrating, but he quickly figured the way to guide me through. He was a great confidant to have on my side. The staff was also kind and helpful and the receptionist always knew who I was. They didn't at the big downtown law firm. They would always ask me if I was a client. Not so here. In the end, we came up with an agreement that was much less alimony and child support than I had initially feared. Everything got worked out and I retained my sanity. He stood up against a lawyer who tried to bully me, and Amos always seemed to know someone on the other team that he could work with. You should hire my lawyer Amos Whitney. He's a good man.

We helped our son find an attorney to represent him in a divorce. Way out here in Nebraska, Ethan Dellinger was recommended. This was a painful time and process, but Ethan represented James so well and with a kind heart. Ethan moved law firms at the mid-point and we did also. I needed a lawyer to finalize the cancellation of a final separation order/ divorce decree and to have the courts change full custody to me. It was a pretty straight forward case and when I met Amos Whitney, he did not make it seem trivial or not worth his time, He was very professional and empathetic during the process. He walked me through each step he would take and kept me updated via email when each step was completed and we were on to the next. Everything was completed quickly and there were no issues. I would definitely recommend Amos and this firm.
