I worked with Shannon Kowitz from February 2018 until October 2018 on a very contentious child custody case and I cannot say enough about her kindness, patience, professionalism and her expertise. She made me feel like my case was the most important to her. I really felt like she cared for my child’s well being and what was in his best interest. She always made time to discuss concerns or explain things to me sometimes more than once. She was well prepared for trial and did a great job when opposing counsel was extremely rude and unprofessional. We won our case and I’m very thankful to her help during an extremely stressful time in my life. I would highly recommend her to anyone, she is the best of the best.

I would highly recommend both Thomas Mulinazzi and Shannon Kowitz from the Mulinazzi Law Firm. I cannot forget their amazing paralegal, Laura Yost. They operate with integrity, compassion, and professionalism. They are very knowledgeable and supportive, even if times get tough. My case, which seemed to be cut and dry in the beginning, took many strange twists and turns with additional litigation. Thomas stayed on the phone with me until all hours of the night preparing for trial the night before as the other side didn't turn their documents in until that same evening so that we were prepared. Shannon answers my endless emails and thrives in the courtroom. Their attention to detail is top notch. They communicate extremely well and are very upfront. The supporting cast in their offices are wonderful as well. They treat you as a person and not just a client. I cannot say enough about what they have done for my children and I during this tough time. You will not regret retaining them as your representation.

Kim gave her full attention to what I was going through and she fought for me. She told me during the initial visit that "I am here for you and I work for you". Kim more than lived up to that statement. If It wasn't for Kim, my case would not have turned out the way it has. It took me going through 4 other lawyers over the years to finally get the maverick! The opposing counsel tried every underhanded trick in the book and Kim was still 4 steps ahead of them. Finally, I have decided to post this on their facebook page showing who I am because it would be a dishonor to the outstanding work Kim and this Firm has done if I did not. Kim is hands down THE BEST LAWYER!!!!!! and everyone in the Mulinazzi Firm is the most professional and kindest people I've encountered in my life. For those of you who are in the unfortunate position in life of having to go through the painful experience of going through a Divorce, I would HIGHLY recommend you Contact Kim Sorenson at the Mulinazzi Law Firm. Quite Frankly I fired the first attorney I hired and interviewed 7 more before hiring Kim to Represent me. To sum it up, she is extremely intelligent, knows the laws inside and out, and how the Howard County Court system works. On top of that she went out of her way to try and find ways to LOWER my legal fees! (unlike my Ex wifes attorney who went out of her way to drag things out and increase legal fee's) Finally, she has a very professional and pleasant demeanor, actually cares about your case instead of trying to pad the legal bill as my ex wife's attorney clearly did.
