I know how important reviews were to me when I was interviewing attorneys, so that’s why I’m investing time to do this. If you need family law representation in Howard County, you want one of reputable firms in HoCo, and MLO is a top choice. When I emailed for consult, I received a near immediate response from Thomas Mulinazzi, quick scheduling from Eddita, and met with the cool, calm Sarah Nadolny within two days. I knew this was the right fit for me. I had even recalled one of their other attorneys, Sandra, was kindly responding to questions from people seeking recommendations in a HoCo moms facebook page. Not just giving the name of their firm, but she was compassionately responding to questions. We had done a lot of mediation outside of counsel and I had coordinated with his attorney pro se, so I really needed Sarah to do a legal review, scrub the order and make edits and response, and bring the deal home. She caught several points that needed to be addressed for my son’s best interest, and worked to have a revised, dual/signed document in 24 HOURS! She was organized, attentive, and fair. I am pretty Type A and extremely organized, and she met me where I was and stayed on pace. The opposing counsel was very scattered and both caused a delay and filed the wrong paperwork, and Sarah responded to the issues that he caused quickly and put measures in place to mitigate future errors. Ultimately, I could tell the firm wants a happy kid, with amicable co-parents. I didn't feel pushed to litigate. They are Military veteran friendly, great office location, easy clear invoicing, and a popcorn machine :).The terms of the retainer were much more reasonable than other firms I interviewed. Thomas Mulinazzi is just as incredible in the courtroom as he is as a person. My divorce was toxic and contentious and even after my divorce was granted, my ex continued to cause issues for me that forced me back to court. I was up against a man that wanted to destroy me financially and emotionally, even at the expense of our kids. When this is the case you need a lawyer that can handle anything thrown at him, who is quick on his feet, whose knowledge and experience are unsurpassed, and who commands a courtroom.
