Very disappointed in his lack of interest, diligence regarding my case. When Bonnie worked for the firm she genuinely made an effort to address my concerns, explain procedures, ask questions, a caring attitude. I cannot say this regarding Mr Souder.

Mr. Souder went above and beyond in our custody suit. He came down quickly and sternly against the other side and was able to get them to back down before even going to court. He made sure our family was kept together and he did it quickly. My husband and I highly recommend this firm!

I hired Gene regarding a child support matter which ultimately developed into false accusations being made by my opponent. Over a period of 8 months Gene always stayed on top of my case and provided excellent legal advice. He is a no nonsense attorney. I highly recommend this law firm. Not only will you get awesome representation but will find he is genuinely a great person who cares about children. I am eternally grateful.

Mr. Souder and his staff were beyond remarkable during my divorce, custody and child support case, which was a long process. Their professionalism, prompt response to all my calls and the care they showed for me was more than I could have asked for during this difficult time. Especially since I lived in Florida during the entire process and my case was in Maryland!!! Mr. Souder really was an advocate for my 2 infant children which is what I admired about him. He took my calls and responded to emails outside of business hours again showing his level of care and diligence in my case. I have worked with Gene consistently since March of 2009. For the past 5 years, Gene has guided me through various legal matters from my separation, divorce, child support (when it wasn't being paid to us), modification of child custody (including mediation) and as of most recently, the adoption of my daughter to my husband. Even when we weren't in the middle of a case, I would sometimes call to update him on a situation that I felt he should be aware of and he always answered my questions, gave advice/suggestions, and always made me feel like my case was just as important to him as it was to me. Gene has always answered calls/emails in a timely manner, explained our various options so that I was always able to make sound decisions, and kept me informed throughout every step of any case we were currently working with. I have grown to completely trust Gene with any situation that may arise. Over the years I have given his contact information to a handful of close friends and I will absolutely call him if we should ever need legal help in the future.

* Gene always answered my phone call's even after closing hours. * Up-front about the charges of his fee's (no surprises) * In court Gene was at the Court House a little early to give the latest up-dates + I have been represented by many different lawyers, and felt it was just a waste of money- Not the case with Gene Souder.

So far I am very pleased with his services. He is very prompt and remains calm through out the situation. I feel very comfortable with his representation. I would recommend him to others looking for legal help with child support/custody.

Had no idea just how much Mr. Souder was ruining my case, as I trusted him throughout the process. He is very easily intimidated and does not know his stuff. Eugene is an attorney who is best hired for EXTREMELY amicable situations because the minute anything gets contentious he backtracks on all the things he said would most likely be a favorable outcome and tries to convince you to take what they want. He is very, very easily bullied and frankly does NOT know his stuff. His motions are poorly written and show he does not have a handle on family law, at all. He may he a smart and kind person, but as far as having a grasp of the law and smart tactical moves he couldn't be worse. I have never been so disappointed and am now in the processes of digging myself out of the hole he got me in in the first place with a new attorney who is actually knows what he's doing. Eugene is good for nothing but drawing up templates of standard legal documents and showing you where to sign on the x. Add any complication and he gives terrible, frankly detrimental advice.

He knows his stuff... calm cool and collected in the courtroom. Would recommend him and will hire him again if needed!
