Yesterday, we received our official notification from the IRS that we are now a 501 (c)(3) public charity! We owe this accomplishment to WRO Law. We started this process over two years ago with LegalZoom and it was overwhelming and costly. We were fortunate to be members of WALA and WRO Law took our request for legal services. When you sit down to look for a lawyer from a list of names, it can feel overwhelming. Prior to working with Atty. White, I contacted 3 other lawyers. None of them felt as personable, knowledgeable and excited for the case as Rolanzo. Yup, you heard me. Excited. Contract negotiation and revisions are not something that gets the blood pumping but throughout my experience with Rolanzo, he was always excited about the case, took the time to explain everything with plain language, and caught some of the catches within our contract as well as points we needed to advocate for. As an artist, I have to apply for a lot of grants, and sometimes the grant agreements have clauses that I don't understand, and can come off as vague. The specific clause I reached out for was about residency status that could result in a heavy penalty if I moved out of the county the grant was for. I wanted to sell my rental property, in a timely manner. I got in touch with Mr. White and told him that I wanted to sell my property, without an agent. We discussed the pros/cons with this strategy, and decided to go the route of "FSBO" (for sale by owner). By the following day I had a questionnaire to fill out so that he could acquire the necessary information to draft my sales agreement.
