Alice is tough, thoughtful and precise. I had another high powered attorney before her but wish I had her all along. She made me feel like family and like she was on my team. Her advocacy lead to a great outcome for me. She is no pushover and will tell it to you straight. She was able to resolve my case very favorably, and got what was in the best interest of my kids. I sought Alice to assist me with a revising my separation agreement after several other attorneys left me feeling hopeless. Rectifying a finalized divorce is not easy. Alice has years of experience and the passion to help her clients which is why my situation did not intimidate her. Her fees were billed with integrity and reasonable considering her expertise. When I initially called her office, her staff did not answer because everyone was snowed in. Alice called me back from her home after checking messages and set up our initial consultation. From that point on I knew that she meant business. My only regret was attempting an uncontested divorce without Alice. The best advice I can give anyone is do not attempt on your own. Alice is the best. She works tirelessly to get results and really goes to bat for you. I wouldn’t have my son if it weren’t for her. His father abducted him overseas when he was two years old to a country that had never returned a child to the US. Alice stayed up all night with me when it happened and had a plan which gave me hope by the next morning. She worked with the FBI, the State Department, the Maryland Courts and members of the US Congress to force my son’s return. She invested an unbelievable number of hours in doing this and really thought “outside the box” to come up with ideas to force his Dad’s cooperation. When my son was finally returned, Alice had already arranged for a therapist to help him deal with what had happened. His Dad also returned to the US to remain a part of our son’s life and Alice has always championed “the child’s best interest” comes first in dealing with his father. Her work has been brilliant both in and out of the courts. She has guided me for 15 years now, as his father frequently takes me to court, and is truly one of a kind. She absolutely knows the law and how to use it to help you.

I lost $1000 on a private detective she hired for me and I never even saw a report. I told her about a court date and she never showed up. I had to all her from court and the judge delayed until she arrived. She asked me for more money when I had just given her another check for $1000. She then made a pissy comment when I hired a new attorney. No itemized bills or receipts.
