Not a good experience

The absolute worst experience with an business of any kind. Not only did my attorney literally ghost me for 3 months, he then charged me for costs/and work that had to be done because he disappeared. They took a simple case where we were agreed upon terms with 1 month and turned it into a more than 7 month ordeal. I'm still getting invoices for work that was never done, being charged interested on top of it, and still haven't been able to speak with anyone who can help me get this resolved. They agreed to remove charges, but never said what was being removed. The only person who would respond to my emails for help is no longer with the firm and they are asking me again to make the case as to my invoices should be adjusted. I do not recommend working with this firm to anyone. The only reason the review is 1 star is because I can't give zero. Someone is supposed to get back in touch with me this week. I doubt that will happen. I have email documentation of everything. THIS IS IN REPLY TO THE FIRMS RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW: That's great that you were able to speak with my attorney, I was never able to get a response from him this quickly. To make sure I understand the firm's stance, my attorney made a decision to pass work that he told me he was going to complete, to another attorney. He never made that decision without consulting me to, "save a few hundred bucks". I certainly would not have agreed to allow another attorney to complete that work. And because that attorney didn't complete the work, I am responsible for thousands of dollars of fees as a result? If my attorney would have drafted the document like he said he would, this process would have been months shorter and thousands of dollars cheaper. I also have months and months of attempted communication with my attorney with no response. I had to get a partner at the firm involved to get a response. How is that possible responding in a timely fashion? At the end of the day I got the outcome I wanted, 3 months later than it should have been and thousands of dollars more than it should be. This is what is considered satisfactory service? I even sent communication of language I wanted added to agreement to protect my wife from drawing out the case. That email was ignored by my attorney and instead he made the decision to let them draw up the agreement. Please feel to contact me if you are considering this firm. I can refer you to the firm my ex used. They clearly outsmarted my guy on this one.

Alice Pare is diligent and hardworking, she continues to put in her 100% in negotiations with opposing attorney, to help my tough child custody situation.
