Mr.Nick is a phenomenal lawyer. I was facing 82 months in jail as a black woman and I end up getting 1 yr of probation.

Mr. Nick was my son in-laws lawyer. He is a fantastic lawyer. My son was facing 10 years and got 4 months and 3 years probation. If you ever need a lawyer, he is your man. My family loves him.

Very very great lawyer.. I had Nick he very good and nice guy he stayed in touch … I was facing 10 years and he got me down to only 4 months I highly recommend going there

'These lawyers only care about your money. They don't even listen to your concerns, talk over you constantly and worst of all, they don't do what you ask them to do even after you pay them over $50,000. Nicholas Madiou is particularly negligent and tries to make you feel guilty about something you never did and will not vouch for you at all in front of a judge. I want to say he does the bare minimum, but he doesn't even do that! Literally the worst of the worst when it comes to attorneys, it's no wonder he went to such a terrible school like Widener University. Michael Lawlor is a loudmouth entitled arrogant attorney who thinks it's okay to make jokes and use the 'n' word and promises you on the first day that everything will be fine in order to get you to loosen up and pay all the money. Once you finish paying, he screws you over big time. In fact, in our first meeting after I fully paid, he had the nerve to joke about it and say "you're not getting a refund now hahaha." AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS!'

If you want to waste time and money on so-called "representation" from Brennan McKenna & Lawlor, then go ahead. They endlessly have their hands out for money, yet they drag their clients along and fail them during easily winnable cases. Nick and Michael are particularly awful. It seems they both have some formula that regularly fails their clients. They are lazy, haphazard, and greedy participants of the legal "circus." Any competent person/client will be left with frustration and raised eyebrows after witnessing their do-nothing services. It's just a money game to them. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you truly want reliable counsel!!

It’s been over a year but our family is still grappling with the trauma that resulted from retaining Nicholas Madiou and Michael Lawlor. I really wish we never hired them and, to this date, I still regret trusting them. We tried asking Nick and Michael questions throughout the entire process, especially given that this was our very first experience with the legal system, but it’s very telling that we didn’t even feel comfortable posing questions to our own lawyers. They even noted that they were frustrated by the number of questions we asked, stressing that they knew what they were doing and that we should trust their “experience” and “expertise”. They continuously insisted that our best bet was to follow the approach they recommended because it was nearly guaranteed to happen. Surely enough, the end result was not even close to what they had assured us. Because of the false promises they made and their unwillingness to help, we were more shocked and disappointed than ever. We understand that the result wasn’t completely within their control, but we wish they fully explained all outcomes and prepared us for the worst. Looking back, it doesn’t even seem that they fought for us behind the scenes, and we certainly don’t feel they advocated for us in court. We would never recommend Nick and Michael. I wish I could advise them now to truly fight for their clients, who put their fate in these lawyers’ hands and whose lives can drastically be changed for the worse as a result of their lack of professionalism and tenacity.

I wish it was possible to give a rating that's less than 1 star. During interactions with Nicholas Madiou and Michael Lawlor, I constantly felt that they were rude while answering questions, disrespectful, discriminatory, and inattentive to the case. I also strongly feel that Nick & Michael made false promises that ultimately had devastating consequences. Save your money and avoid severe disappointment by retaining lawyers who are knowledgeable. determined, and compassionate and who will actually do everything in their power to advocate for you.

They are the best law team in Maryland. I would recommend this team to everyone. John McKenna is the best attorney around. I really appreciate everything you have done for me and my family. We love you. I wish you and your family all the best.
