I went to a consultation with Linda Thatcher's law associates. I felt that it was the biggest waste of my time and money. Maybe, I should've opted to meet with her vs. her associates. I've been on some legal consultations over the years for different cases, and for the most part, I've been able to walk away with jewels of information and strategic advice and/or suggestions as to how to approach my case. Ultimately, this is what you pay for when you have a legal consultation, even if the firm decides to pass on the case. In the end, walking away with useful information is worth the money. On the contrary, her law associates asked irrelevant questions and wasted my time by reciting the documents back to me that I submitted to them, as if I didn't read them beforehand. Plus, the documents I submitted for their review were discovery from an EEOC investigation and mediation; thus, the documents were already reviewed and dissected by myself, the investigator, and my previous attorney. So, her law associates reading them back to me wasn't enlightening in any way. They also kept saying that things discussed in the mediation wasn't admissible in court unless it was being recorded, which isn't accurate because the investigator/ mediator's note can be admissible in a trial. That's the whole point of discovery. Also, I felt that they didn't listen effectively because questions were repeatedly asked as if they weren't listening. Also, they kept confusing the respondent that I was trying to pursue in court. There are multiple respondents in my case. If I could do it over, I would've either paid the higher rate to meet with Mrs. Thatcher or not have gone at all. Lastly, they couldn't take the case due to time constraints, which they could've informed me of sooner. They also informed me over the phone that they couldn't take my case, versus the mail or email. They failed to refer me to fellow law firms that possibly could take my case in their absence. I also noticed they failed to make copies of my documents for their file. In all of my legal consultations, this is the first law firm that I've come across that failed to do any of those things. I will not be recommending this law firm to any of my colleagues or friends. I feel like I was cheated and robbed for my money, in addition to wasting over an hour of my time that I can't get back.

Linda and Lindsay came to me in my darkest hour and I can’t thank them enough. My case recently got resolved with a favorable outcome and it was, admittedly, a very challenging case. Without going into much detail, it was the kind of case where the chances of getting a good outcome were negligible. Linda and her team are competent, sharp, tough, effective, and always know the right decision to make. A special thanks to Lindsay who was representing me.
It was such a difficult case right at the outset that most lawyers would not see much potential in it. Indeed, I was rejected from several such firms where I was not given the time of day, even for consultations! But Linda saw something in me as a person, not as a case. And that is what you come and feel at Thatcher law firm. There is a sense of family. To me personally, Linda and Lindsay fighting for me was not so different as if it were another mother and an older brother supporting me and fighting for me. But with a ton of legal weaponry.
There is not even a shred of doubt for me to recommend Thatcher Law Firm.

Linda Thatcher really do not care about her clients at all or she may be predujiced at some extent when it comes to EEOC matter. Her staff is really misleading too. She is not an employment discrimation lawyer as she claim to be . Her only strength is sexual harassment litigation. Upon reading her biography and upon consultation I was astounded to find out that she really has very little knowledge regarding Federal EEO and EEOC process— Linda Thatcher also really doesn’t listen or neither care to listen to her potential client and is only interested in your money. I believe she is really not interested and do not care about upholding civil right and equal employment opportunity law.
She is also very rude and condescending. Facebook review could be fake and paid for propaganda, thus do not fall for it like I did. Always go by AVVO rating- I found the best and caring lawyer based on avvo rating as AVVO rating tend show very accurate relection of potential attorney based on my experience.
She also does not need to comment about how backward your national origin country is. That is completely unnecessary during a paid consultation.
Thus please do not fall for those fake reviews on Facebook and she is not a EEO lawyer as her staff and she claim to me. Please kindly go by AVVO rating and save money and time. She was also almost 35 minutes late to the consultation. She is only interested in monetary gain and is less interested in helping clients by providing her expertise and knowledge in legal matter.

I had an excellent experience with Ms. Thatcher and other members of her firm from the very first visit. She was responsive both via phone and email and had expertise advise for my situation. Her direct approach worked well for me. I would highly recommend this firm.
