I interviewed several attorneys before hiring Omid Azari and his team. It was a stressful process and perhaps I was worn down by the point I hired them since I wasn't exactly "won over" in my first meeting. In fact, I was wondering if they even knew who I was when I hadn't heard from them the night before my first hearing. But when we did get to court - then I saw what I was really paying for. Don't expect them to hold your hand and call you every day and tuck you in at night. These people are machines and I mean that in the best way. They'll answer your questions, they will return calls, but they aren't guidance counselors or your BFF. That was my first lesson. In court, I never worried. They were always prepared, professional, and they did the best that they could with the facts in my case (which were really really bad). The outcome in my case was better than I thought I'd receive and I owe 90% of that to Omid's team (esp. Ed and Lauren) and the other 10% to dumb luck. I would hire them again in a second, though I hope that I never have to. They really pulled my bacon out of the fire.
