I'm so glad to cross paths with Aleksandra. I was in a very bad situation 4 months ago, I was fortunate to meet Aleksandra at that time and hire her as my attorney. One of the best decisions in my life. We had a successful I-485 AOS case and everything went like a charm. I think most of it has to do with Aleksandra's professionalism. I talked to couple of other lawyers before deciding to hire Aleksandra, and I have to tell you there is a big difference in the way she handles her clients and cases. Aleksandra and her team (specifically Ceserine Etori) were fantastic! I utilized their services to assist with obtaining my re-entry permit (I-131), and it was true value for money. I was overseas and a little lost in regards to the process. Alexandra and the team organized all the paperwork while I was out of the country so I could file the day of my return. I worked with Aleksandra Michailov on my I-485. She was competent and open, answered all my questions, notified me on any changes of my case status. And, while preparing documents for filing, she didn't make any fundamental errors which could make my case fail (unlike my previous attorney who failed my first PERM and almost failed the second one because, as I found out later, he made the same mistakes). I felt pretty down on my luck when I l got rear ended by a driver who clearly wasn't paying attention on the road. Cue Paul Chung and Jessica Baker from Shulman Rogers to swoop in and alleviate my worries, not making me handle a thing myself and assuring me every step of the way that they had things under control. Paul and Jessica did a wonderful job of informing me what my rights were. They dealt with the multiple auto insurance companies, doctors, physical therapists, car dealerships and auto repair shops that my case required. They promptly answered my every question, and prudently advised me in every situation. In addition, they're terrific to be around. I truly enjoyed their company. I can't thank them enough.

I thought of writing this review because I hope this will be helpful to many of the people who try to find the right attorney for immigration process. 6 months back I was in a situation to file my GC using cross chargeability. I was going through forums, avvo etc to find the attorneys. I spoke to leading attorneys in Chicago, Ohio, etc.. But after the initial discussion, I found that many had no idea and had responded by saying they would get back on the matter at a later time. Finally I found about Capitol Immigration Law through the internet. I got an immediate response to the mail that we sent to them and immediately I spoke to her and she answered all of my questions right away. Aleksandra was very clear about the immigration process and systematically reviewed our case and followed through the process without any delay. She and Magdalena are very responsive and reachable through phone and mail. They have a lot of patience and took the time to assure me and clarify every question that I had. During the final stage I got an RFE and they were very helpful in dealing with this matter. Within a week after that my GC got approved. A NIGHTMARE !! I recently used their settlement services after being coaxed by my former real estate agent ( REMAX Gold Standard Group in Olney, MD). Computations in the HUD1 were wrong; I had to recalculate and constantly check on them to rectify the errors. The attorney was snobbish and didn't show any care, the post settlement person was unresponsive. Recordation was done late (it only appeared on public records after 3 long weeks, whereas a recent settlement agent I used -- Federal Title -- perfected the recordation on the closing date and they were shown in public records on that same day!). I will definitely STAY AWAY from Shulman Rogers and REMAX Gold Standard Group in any future real estate needs.
