My fiancé was in a not-at-fault accident with several odd, complicated moving parts, and required surgeries that made the case unique. A friend recommended we reach out to Mike Nakamura and Jess Baker at Shulman Rogers, and I must say they are the best! From the start, Mike and Jess were incredibly understanding to our work schedules and promptly scheduled our first video interview within two days of contacting them. Throughout the entire process, they remained warm, caring, and professional, always being realistic about our expected outcomes (which I appreciated the most) and able to video chat instead of driving an hour to meet in person. Their fees were also reasonable and transparent from the beginning which really helped. Most of our day-to-day communications were with Jess, who skillfully acted as the intermediary between us and the insurance companies. Her response time was remarkably fast, she was incredibly organized, and even managed to lighten our moods and help us relax with appropriate levity of situations, just as if talking to an old friend! Thanks Jess!!! I dont know how you do the magic you do with clients, and stay not just consistently reliable but ahead of the game. Unlike other attorneys, they never talked down to us and used plain language to explain the more complex aspects of our case and had the patience to answer all 977 questions we must have asked. It always felt like a two or three-way conversation with them, allowing us to feel engaged and participating rather than being talked at. Our experience with Mike and Jess at Shulman Rogers has completely restored my faith in attorneys. If you find yourself in need of legal assistance, they should be your first call.
