Hello to all of those who would be interested in reading reviews for this wonderful law office team. A little over two years ago I was rear ended several months out of a major back surgery. The person who hit me didn't immediately desire to report to the insurance company and asked me if I'd settle without a lawyer. Due to my circumstances this wasn't possible and she continued to attempt to proceed without reporting the incident. My car was repaired by the body shop and later ended up having a leak from a frame shift. I had to trade the car in and inform the dealership of what happened so they could repair and resell it with the resources they have. I simply couldn't afford the further repairs and had signed off with the body shop before a water leak became an issue in the future. The reason for surgery was that I had a previous back surgery that was being treated from a prior car accident and now I was hit following surgery. I went from a full time medical position to disability and a part time employee when the original accident occurred. After I was rear ended in this case, following surgery, I could no longer sustain the physical work of even my part time position. I went back into surgery and healed up, taking off work for the process. I was able to find another position as a ministry developer in which I can work part time remotely when I healed up. It was and is a blessing. My case was originally with another lawyer and considered complex in nature. The other law office was disorganized and stressful. I had to keep sending in things I had already, repeatedly. When David Ellin law office and his team took my case, I had lost hope and trust in the previous lawyer and in the case. Being with Ellin's office, began showing me a team of people who were on top of things and my faith was returning that I was in the hands of a place that was truly in action. I just wanted my medical bills paid and my time lost from work paid back. By the end of my experience with them, I felt warmth and connection with the team; I felt safe as if there was ease; the process was done right and as an anxious person, this meant so much to me. They got everything taken care of, right down to expediting getting most of the settlement to me when my dog needed a semi-emergent surgery and then negotiated the other bills and got the rest to me later. I just finished the entire process with Ellin's team yesterday. I walked out of there knowing I was in good hands. My dog is recovering from surgery and my medical bills have been negotiated and paid off. I got my missed work time back and was able to also pay off some debt and have some things taken care of in my home. I would recommend David Ellin to others and encourage others to utilize them for their needs as well. Be patient and let these guys work and work with them. I am retired and had to undergo emergency medical treatment. The hospital that performed the treatment then sent me a bill for the portion of expenses not covered by my insurance. These expenses exceeded $80,000. On a fixed income and living with my daughter and her family, there is no way I could dream of paying off this debt and I didn’t want it to become a problem for my children to deal with when my time is up. I had heard great things about David Ellin and decided to reach out to him, more for advice than for legal services. After discussing my details with Mr. Ellin at length, he asked for me to send him my bills and paperwork so he could get a full picture. I was originally reluctant for fear that I would have legal bills on top of my already insurmountable medical expenses. After providing all the paperwork to Mr. Ellin, he asked if I’d like him to contact the hospital on my behalf and I agreed. After a few months, the hospital responded that they would not be pursuing payment from me and would close my case and settle the bill with just the payments made by my insurance company. When I asked Mr. Ellin what my legal bills amount to, considering that he made an $80,000 debt go away, he told me that he had taken the case pro bono and that I owed him nothing. The law office of David Ellin has helped me a few times over the years. I have been impressed with their willingness to battle with Goliaths who take advantage of the public since most people are intimidated by their endless legal resources and easily part with their money to avoid such confrontation. With Ellin Law in my corner a fortune-500 shipping/delivery company fully paid my claim, which they previously denied. The level of professionalism and the great communication from the Ellin Law team was impressive. The wheels of justice move slowly, and they kept me informed with regular updates. I realize that my request for legal help falls outside of the swim lane of medical malpractice and auto accidents but am greatly appreciative that they agreed to advocate on my behalf and get the settlement I deserved.

My business partner and I are not Maryland residents but have been targeted by Mr. Ellin and would truly hate to see him on the path to the Capitol, heaven forbid the White House, considering his current indifference for the law he claims to love and take pride in upholding. My partner and I are disabled women, medically retired, which is a fancy way of saying a team of medical professionals has deemed our condition too severe to maintain traditional 9-5 employment . This means that we are dependent almost solely on SSDI with the exception of a little side work leaving us virtually at poverty level but he is still willing to pursue legal action. Most of our time is dedicated to volunteering our time in advocating for people like us in receiving fair and adequate healthcare. We received a Cease and Desist from Mr Ellin dated November 15, 2021, within days of him stating publicly how unfair he thought that was that the law does not allow him to practice at this time. The Cease and Desist was regarding alleged slander and libel toward a nonprofit foundation neither of us have been associated with since October of 2020, threatening criminal charges although there are not criminal statutes in our states or theirs. What’s more, this nonprofit is in Texas, my partner is in Indiana and my letter was mailed to Massachusetts. Mr. Ellin did not obtain Pro Hac Vice in any of these locations. I realize anyone being accused of something is going to deny any allegations, however in this case it is incredibly obvious made more clear that Mr. Ellin was not able to produce documentation of the alleged slander and libel as required by law. It appears he did this as a favor to a friend who contacted him solely on hearsay since he could not provide us with any details on the slander and libel we have been accused of. Typically when an attorney sends a Cease and Desist there is an expectation of a response from the accused and/or their legal team to which the initiating attorney should follow up on. Mr. Ellin has yet to follow up to this day. It is clear his priorities and ethics are lacking. ***. .
