You will not be disappointed with his service. Mr. Anderson was one of four lawyers I talked to and he was the most professional and caring. He listened to my issues first involving my divorce before just putting a price tag on my case. I told him what I wanted out of the process and he advised me on my legal rights and the best ways to go about the process. I was against getting a lawyer but so thankful I did. He was always available when I needed him and always kept me informed. He didn't spend pointless time on the case in order to runup the price and billable hours. Every month I received an invoice on exactly what I was being charged for. He was instrumental during my mediation session with my now ex-husband and ensured everything was fair. The case didn't drag out for months and months. Mr. Anderson made sure to stay on top of my ex-husbands lawyer so we could come to agreements to avoid a 2-3 day divorce trial. Thankfully we settled everything in mediation and was only in court for 15 minutes. I felt at ease working with Mr. Anderson and will definitely use him again for any of my family needs. I highly recommend Mr. Anderson. You may not think you can afford him but he will definitely work with you on a payment plan. Don't cut yourself short. Get a lawyer. Get Mr. Anderson.

I am an African American male who has 50% shared custodial and legal but I have tie breaking decision making. My ex-wife sole mission has been to overturn that original court decision. We have been in a very litigious custody battle for the past 5 years and I have utilized multiple attorneys and legal services. My ex had decided once again to attempt to change custody through modification (her 3nd time filing for a mod). The previous attorney I utilized informed me that she has changed her practice to handling only appeals. She offered a referral for Alex Anderson to handle my modification. I met with Alex and he was very professional, punctual, and attentive to my description of the events that had transpired over the prior 5 years. During my consultation, Mr. Anderson took notes and at the end, offered sound advice as well as his interpretation of the possible best- and worst-case scenario. I felt very comfortable with the advice he offered although I was not in total agreement. I was thinking with emotion and wanted to go a different way with my case while Alex took the position of wearing the white hat and remaining on the defense. I listened, agreed, and retained his services. He began to work on my case immediately and kept me informed throughout the process. He was very diligent with gathering the necessary information from me and ensured that we were both prepared for court. Prior to court, Mr. Anderson suggested that he speak with my ex-wife’s attorney and try to bring a resolve to the case without entering the courtroom. He was very stern and persuasive and informed her attorney that if they were willing to dismiss the case, we would accept. He also explained that if they moved forward with the case, it would not be wise, and we would press for full custody. Whatever was said in that conversation obviously resonated with my ex and her attorney because the next day, they dismissed the case. Once the case was dismissed, Mr. Anderson returned the remainder of my retainer and told me that if I experienced any other issues, he would gladly represent me again. Mr. Anderson not only advocated for the best interest of my children, he was able to stop my ex from taking me to court for the 8th time. Alex was very knowledgeable about the court system as well as issues pertaining to family law. I would and have referred him to several friends in similar situations and would highly encourage anyone needing legal representation to enlist the services of The Law Firm of Alexander K.
