During an incredibly difficult time, working out a separation agreement from my husband of many decades, Darcy was thoughtful, caring and wise. Her compassion and insight were paramount in securing a fair agreement with grace - something I could not find outside the collaborative process.

Like most of us, I have high expectations about expertise and response time. Darcy negotiated on my behalf for my divorce. I really like her style - she's straightforward, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and responsive. She made things go about as smoothly as they could have in an otherwise stressful process. It was a huge load off stress off my shoulders to just hand things over to her. She moved things along quickly and advocated strongly on my behalf. I felt like our communication was clear and uncomplicated, and her advice was solid, comprehensive and sensitive to my financial situation (even to the point of recommending that I not use her services for some things because my cost would have outweighed the potential gain). While divorce will never be a pleasant experience, having Darcy as my lawyer made the process much better. She was easy to talk with, and took care to understand my concerns - especially for my autistic son. I recommend her highly - she will use a collaborative process, even if the other party isn't fully on board with that.
