Darcy served as the mediator in our divorce. At the most difficult time in my life she was compassionate, supportive, and helped us reach an agreement and avoid litigation that would have been both costly and painful. Her office's welcoming, even cozy atmosphere is very symbolic of who she is, offering comfort and calm at a time when you most need it. We found her through the recommendation of a friend, and after working with her, I would recommend her to anyone. She is also just a wonderful human being and a credit to her field.

I had a relatively simple divorce and Darcy made it even easier. She was easy to communicate with: she was available to answer my questions even after hours or weekends. She explained the process, therefore I had no surprises. She's knowledgeable and drew my attention to details that I didn't consider before. I highly recommend her.

Darcy was wonderful during a difficult time during my divorce negotiations. As I tried to emotionally distance myself, I was able to see her take charge of the meetings and derive a fair and equitable agreement for all. Her competence was obvious. I was so glad I had been referred to her. She later did a pre-nuptual agreement for me and was just as good as during the divorce. I recommend her highly!

Darcy Shoop provided clear and sound legal advice and excellent guidance through the separation and divorce process. This advice was extremely helpful for drafting a parenting agreement that was acceptable for both parties, which allowed for an amicable ending. I also appreciated her straight forward approach to explaining issues and presenting multiple solutions with pros and cons to each.

Darcy was fantastic. In a situation where you need someone on your side and to know what questions to ask I was lucky to have Darcy. When the situation created emotion Darcy knew how to support me and yet keep me focused on the business transaction we were trying to accomplish. No feeling or concern went unnoticed. Every concern I had was addressed. She knew how to get the information we needed to move forward, that frankly I struggled getting out of my former spouse for years. When we finally finished the process we all walked away feeling the outcome was fair.

I could not have been happier with Darcy. She was consistently
objective, which was to my benefit. She does not milk the clock, but rather works very efficiently. She is persistent in getting both parties to the negotiating table and arriving at a reasonable solution. She has a deep caring for her clients which comes through in meetings with her and her knowledge of the law is outstanding.
