Donny was the best lawyer for the best price during my DUI case. He walked me through every step of the process and set my mind at ease during a difficult time. He is charismatic and personable. My son was cited for driving while his license was suspended. The problem was that the citation was issued before the notice that his license was mailed to him, as evidenced by the postmark on the envelope containing the notice letter. We provided Donny with the evidence, and he contacted the District Attorney's office and got the case dropped. Great result, professionally delivered. We would definitely engage Donny again if we were to need to do so.

From my initial telephone conversation about my DUI case to the day of my trial and eventually acquittal on all charges Donny was honest with the gravity of the my case, the complications involved and the potential eventualities of the varied paths to addressing the issue. In the end what made the difference was Donny’s diligence on pointing out the facts of the matter that help our position and making the opposition indicate where they did not have evidence to support their position. I’m very greatful and learned a great lesson not to put myself in such a position again.

I hired Donny twice for issues with my provisional license. The MVA is huge pain when it comes to a provisional license and I think that I might have the worst luck in the world. I am a good driver but it is like anytime I made any kind of mistake, no matter how small, there was a cop who was ready to pull me over for it. The MVA was getting ready to suspend my license twice. Donny came through for me both times. I would not be able to function without my license. I knew for sure that the MVA was going to suspend my license the second time. I had already been cut a break and here I was coming back again. Donny looked at the case and said he could help. He really knows the law and he is not a jerk about things. He put together a plan and executed it to perfection. I definitely felt prepared going into the hearing. He struck the right tone with the judge and I walked out of there with my license in hand. We hired Donny to help my mother-in-law with a traffic case. My mother-in-law is an older woman and she is not from the U.S. I was on the scene of the incident and I can tell you for sure that the police officer overreacted. Not only was the officer angry and hostile towards this older woman, but he issued her nine citations! And then sent paperwork to the MVA to have her re-tested! It was bad. And my mother-in-law had made an honest mistake, turning the wrong way on a confusing road. Another police officer who was on the scene told me that people make the same mistake every day. We were not trying to say that she did nothing wrong, but she should only be cited for what she actually did. It just seemed like the officer was excessive and mean. We just wanted this complicated and tense situation to be resolved in a peaceful way. We hired Donny and he not only helped with the court case but he also sent a letter to the MVA, complete with a screenshot from Google Maps, explaining that my mother-in-law made an honest mistake. The MVA still re-tested her, but I have to think that Donny’s letter helped put the entire case into context. She was able to get her license back before the court date! Originally, the prosecutor seemed out for blood. He wanted my mother-in-law to plead guilty to fleeing and eluding a police officer (you can go to jail for that). But when it was all said and done, my mother-in-law was only found guilty of two smaller traffic tickets and Donny was even able to keep those off of her record. Throughout the entire process, Donny was very good to deal with. He was very responsive and very helpful. He made a difference for us. If you need a lawyer he is someone who you should call.

Donny was my lawyer for a child support case. My ex took me to court, trying to squeeze me for more money than I had. I am a working man who has always taken care of his child. I did not have the money to pay my ex what she was asking for, but I also did not have a lot of money to pay a lawyer to help me fight the case. I felt that I was going to be taken advantage of one way or the other. If you are in that situation the you know exactly what I am talking about. A coworker told me to talk to Donny Knepper. I am so glad that I took that advice. First of all, Donny is easy to talk to. He is not some nerdy lawyer. He knows how real people live their lives. He also worked within my budget. And he got results! He went right to work. He started contacting people while I was still in his office. It was such a relief, seeing someone take action like that. I don’t know if he has a crystal ball or what, but he told me how the case was going to go, and it went pretty much exactly like he said it would. By the end of the case, I was actually able to argue that my ex owed me child support! Think about that one. If not for Donny then who knows what would have happened. He did not look at me as just a way to make money, he was definitely in it to help. He never blew me off. He answers my calls, and he did not disappear after I hired him. If you need a lawyer then you need to call him.

I had a DUI case and Donny definitely helped me. The whole case could have gone so badly because it involved a hit and run and then I did not go to court and there was a warrant out for my arrest. It was really stressful. Donny was able to quash the warrant without me having to turn myself in. I was guilty and I did not get away with it, but with Donny's help I received a PBJ on everything (even the hit and run) and so I was able to keep my license. I did not go to jail either. Donny is great. He is easy to get a hold of and he came through for me. And the best part of all is that he is affordable. You should definitely call him.

I hired Donny for my family case long after my divorce was over and I really wish that I had hired him much earlier. My first attorney really took me to the cleaners financially speaking. Not that my first attorney did a bad job, far from it, but it was just so expensive. Donny did a great job for me and he was able to keep the costs under control. My ex is one of these guys who never learned how to simply get along with others. My ex created one problem after another for me and my children. It did not matter that the divorce was over and that the Court had ordered him to do certain things, he was not going to follow any Orders. Not only that, but he kept bringing the case back to court. By the time I hired Donny there had already been over 300 docket entries in my case (which is a ton). That is the thing about court, it is susceptible to being abused by people like my ex who have have regard for the truth. Donny was able to quickly ascertain what my ex was doing and he devised a strategy to defuse the case. And when the judge made an incorrect ruling on one of the key issues in the case, Donny refused to let it go. He argue with the judge and when it became clear that the judge was not going to change his mind, Donny did what he needed to do in order to get a speedy appeal on the issue. I really got to see Donny's full range of legal skills. I not only saw him prepare and execute a trial, but then I also saw him prepare a professional legal memorandum for the appeal. He was excellent. His work is polished and persuasive, which is why we won the appeal! When my ex brought the case back again after that, Donny once again did a very effective job bringing things to a quick end. Donny knows how the system works and he knows pretty much everybody in the courthouse. He knows how to get results. My ex has not brought be back to court since being beat by Donny. And to think that he did it all at a price that I could afford, I really wish that I had known to go talk to him during my original divorce case. If you are reading this review then it probably means that you need a lawyer. There are so many lawyers out there and you should find one who suits your needs, but by all means make sure that Donny Knepper is one of the lawyers you talk to before making any final decision.

I hired Donny for my divorce case because I was told that he was an honest lawyer who would get results without running up my bill. They were right, not only was he honest, but engaging and understanding, as well. I'm so glad I hired him to settle my case! It was important to me that I hire an attorney who I can trust. My ex and I had been married for a long time and we had been financially successful, which meant that there was money to fight over. Not only that, but my ex can be quite difficult. There was ample opportunity for me to get taken advantage of by a lawyer. Donny never let me down. He always looked out for MY best interest. Donny did everything he could to keep the case moving. I am not sure what was going on with my ex and his lawyer, but they did not seem interested in getting anything done quickly. Donny stayed on them, pushing them to produce the records that we needed and come to the bargaining table. Donny also took the time to educate himself about my case. He and his staff processed the information and made everything very easy to understand. I knew what to expect at each stage of the litigation and I knew what was reasonable and what was unreasonable. He was also able to "talk me down" many times, when my ex was doing everything in his power to send the divorce process into litigation. I feel very good about how my case was resolved. I did not want to spend (err waste) the resources going to trial and Donny understood that. He guided the case through a very fruitful mediation. I saved a ton of money working with Donny. I think that anybody who is going through a divorce should meet with him. His approach to the law is disarming and effective. He knows how to win. He helped me through what was the most difficult time in my life, and I am forever grateful.

I hired Donny for what would have been my second DUI if not for the great job that he did.  I had gotten arrested twice within a year for DUIs.  I wish that I had hired him for my first DUI because I might have been found not-guilty of that one too.   There was a lot on the line for me and my family when I was arrested a second time, especially in the current political climate.  Donny came highly recommended and I put my faith in him.  He did everything that you want your attorney to do.  He really fought for me.  He subpoeaned the police officer's radar detector information and he also compelled the officer to bring his training manual to court with him.  Donny also walked the scene of the stop with me and we created a short video of what the area really looked like so that we could use it in court.   Donny had also watched the officer's body camera footage and took such detailed notes so that he could take the officer to task at trial.   On the trial date I was so nervous but Donny had things under control.  It was obvious that Donny knew way more about DUI law than the police officer.  He questioned him about everything and he was able to prove that the officer did not follow his own training.  By the end of the trial there was no question about it, I was not-guilty.  You cannot imagine the relief that I felt.   I know there are a lot of attorneys who you can hire.  I must have received 50 advertisements from different lawyers.  I cannot imagine any of them doing a better job than Donny did.  He is everything you want in a lawyer
