I worked with Mr. Rubin back in 2009/2010 when he represented myself and other coworkers in what turned into a class action arbitration. He was extremely knowledgeable and hard working. Going against an employer with bottomless pockets, I never felt as though we were the underdog. Mr. Rubin kept us involved throughout the entire process, and was always prepared for whatever came our way. I hope to never need his services again, but should I, he would be the first person I called.

Jimmy was so helpful in a very difficult situation. I was sued by an old employer and he was amazing in helping me navigate the situation. We ended in mediation and it was a positive outcome. Have recommend him to several people!

We were convinced by our primary attorney to speak with Mr Hoover because he was touted as the expert in education law. Boy was that a mistake. Without approval, He went haywire with the amount of time he spent as if he had an unlimited budget. We never gave him the authority to spend as much time as he did. Nor did we have an engagement letter that formally hired him. When we questioned his invoice and the amount of time he spent, he threatens to sue us if we don't pay. Further if we had received commensurate value we wouldn't have had a problem paying his bill. Beware of using this attorney unless you have a very clear idea "in writing" as to the amounts he will charge you. Dissatisfied client.
