My story is one of complete success, and a most desirable conclusion. I was facing a serious traffic infraction in Montgomery County. Upon our first conversation over the phone, David Moyse relayed a personal interest in my case. He was sincere, understood my concerns, and what was at stake with the charges at hand for me personally. The actions taken and plan devised by David in my situation resulted in complete exhoneration of the charges. Not only did he successfully argue and win my case, but he went one step further and assisted me in getting the charges expunged from the record. It is as if it never happened. The past several months of my life has brought me much pain and suffering. However, my faith, family, friends and my defending counsel, Mr. David Wooten were a source of encouragement for me. Dr. Martin Luther king Jnr, spoke of the redemptive quality of unearned suffering and I must say I was redeemed. My family, academic colleagues, students, friends and past institutions of studies were constantly in my mind as I grapple with the distress and pressure of this most unwarranted and unexpected development. Mr. Wooten winning my case has averted a bad situation that could have resulted in a black young Jamaican with unlimited potential from ending up behind bars far away from families and well wishers.
