I just wanna say that gary is absolutely the best lawyer at making his clients feel comfortable and confident. was on probation for a second degree assault, i VOP with a dui in virginia , we went to court i got a 500 dollar fine and he got me off probation,he was very helpful. would defiantly recommended him

I'll start off by saying I was convicted of a DWI while I was on supervised probation and if convicted I would automatically receive 18 month from my prior conviction in Washington D.C. Mr. Gerstenfield blamed himself for the first loss at my DWI trial and took on my appeal pro-bono. He cared for me as if he knew me my entire life. He was more than my representation but also a friend and mentor through out the entire process. He works for his clients 24 hours a day seven days a week, even giving his personal cell phone number incase of emergencies. His paralegal Sara was great during the entire appeal process. She and Garry won appeal for me and got me everything I asked for, including a continuance so that I could take my annual family vacation that we had booked months prior. The law offices of Garry H. Gersenfield are the real deal folks. Sara and Gary are OG's I cannot thank them enough. Worth every penny.

If your child gets into any trouble (drug/alcohol/criminal/or an issue that you need a lawyer) at the University of Maryland, this is the man you want to hire! He's honest, intelligent and will do whatever he can to lessen the severity of the issue. Affordable and very knowledgeable about the court system of PG County. Our child was very lucky and ended up with 1 year probation (court system) and only a suspension from Maryland instead of explusion. Read the reviews, excellent lawyer.

Gary is the man! I was being punished by upset ex for ending our relationship. She wanted to ruin me. But thank God I called Gary's office, and he answered! He was very confident on the phone and I heard his tone which was that of understanding in his voice. I had a plan and told him about it. He didn't agree with my plan and I trusted his. Thank God again. I was stressing myself out and Gray had pretty good jokes to make me feel better. He knew the system so well and he didn't allow my ex to take advantage of the system and ruin me. I've known Gary Gerstenfield for years now and I can honestly say that he is the most interesting man in the world. I don't always use a lawyer but when I do, I prefer Gary Gerstenfield. He will prove you not guilty my friends. On a serious note,Gary is the best attorney I could have hired. He repeatedly has gotten me off of charges in which i could have received lengthy terms in jail. His charismatic demeanor and quick wits make him a force not to be reckoned with in and out of court rooms. Excellent service and representation. Gary spent a lot of time preparing me for my case. Gave me directions on what to do before and during the case to put me in the best light in front of the judge and checked up on me to make sure I was following through. Being in my early 20's, he also gave me a lot of helpful advice to ensure I would not put myself back in that situation.Got my case expunged and my record clear. I have the highest regard for Gary Gerstenfield. In late December, 2012, I had a problem with the state courts in Maryland. As time went by, Gary Gerstenfield told me that it has been a year since the event and the Maryland constitution stated very clearly that a trial would be expedited, within 6 to 12 months I had a 4th court trial scheduled on February 6th (all previous court appearances were delayed except for the 6th of February, and he raised the issue of the tardiness in resolving my case. He then brought up that he had lost a crucial witness and that I no longer remembered much of what happened during that evening. So what happened? All aspects of the case were dismissed and the event was expunged from my record. Gary Gerstenfield is very well liked in Montgomery County. I can clearly see why. He is brilliant, and obviously thinks a great deal about each client, giving each one the best in legal care
