Over the past two decades, Mr. Simmons has ably represented me and my family successfully in civil matters. Mr. Simmons has helped me with several cases in the past although he recently helped me with my child custody case. Thanks to him I have gotten the results I wanted for my baby girl and I. Would I refer him?...YES, would I rehire him?...YES! Best attorney ever!

Mr. Simmons went above and beyond to help prove my innocence fought hard against the district attorney and their alleged accusations , proved beyond a reasonable doubt that I am innocent ... we need more lawyers out here who actually care about the individual and not what the client is going to pay the lawyer ... Mr. Simmons treats me like a human being , and help me through payment plans later to pay my legal fees I've never seen any other attorney work so hard ... I will recommend him on my friends and family and business associates because of the upmost and courteous and professional and prompt and personal attention that he gave me and my case .

I found Mr. Simmons after searching the web and reading, among other things, this website. I definitely do not regret the decision. I had never met him before, and I specifically chose him for my criminal defense case because I work in politics and he has previously served as a legislator. I believed he would understand how my case could reflect poorly on my boss and my clients, and I was correct. His rates were fair, his staff were helpful and discreet, and he obtained a very good result for me. What else can you possibly ask for out of an attorney? If you work on the Hill or in a similar public position and you need someone you can trust, this is your man. I hope I never have to retain the services of a criminal defense attorney ever again, but if I do, I will be calling him back. I would recommend his services to all my friends and colleagues, both Republicans and Democrats.

I was facing serious criminal charges and I turned to Mr. Simmons for help. Mr. Simmons was always honest with my case and never sugar coded the situation which made me realize he knew what he was doing. I was charged is possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Mr. Simmons was able to get me a PBJ and shortly after able to get the charges expunged off my record. Best attorney ever.

I have been dealing with Luiz Simmons and his office for some time now, & they are getting sloppier and sloppier. Where calls are never returned months go pass they still dont have a simple answer to your questions. Eevery time you call they are in a meeting, or vocation. Never there doing any work. I been trying to get something resolved since 2009, and my case closed in 2007. So tell me why it takes that long to have one thing resovled for as clearing a bill of my credit report, that never should have been put on there, that should have been paid through my workers comp. case & Luiz Simmons was my lawyer in the case. Im still fighting with the office as of 1/2/11.

My experience with Mr. Simmons and his staff was pleasant until they didn't show up in court. I turned down the public defender only to have my paid attorney not show up because she was in court with another client. Completely forgot about my case! After the mixup, no one called to say anything. Several calls and a month later when I tracked them down, Mr. Simmons gave me a copy of a bill and said I should not be upset because I had already received a discount. I paid them a fee they asked for. I never requested a discount nor was offered one. I wish they admitted they were unprofessional instead of trying to justify a huge mistake. Mr. Simmons should charge his fee instead of double booking court dates and not showing up.
