Matthew Bennett took on a DUI case for me where I was wrongfully accused of driving while intoxicated and he did not disappoint! I was being accused of a DUI/DWI by Montgomery County PD after a near death hit and run accident and decided to take it to trial as the state attempted to give me a plea deal for a crime I did not commit. Matthew walked in that court room and completely dominated it! ALL charges were dropped thanks to Matt’s brilliant legal skills! I have had cases, dealt with multiple lawyers, but never have I worked with a lawyers whose mastery, execution and delivery of the law is flawless. After having offered the state attorneys and State police officers a change to safe face and take a plea deal we proposed, they braggadociously declined. They demanded we go on trial. They wanted the false DUI to stick. Like Badman saving Gotham, he completely humiliated the prosecutors and police officer. Within a few minutes of cross examing the officer , the judge had heard enough of thier buffoonery and dismissed the whole case.. With a firm smile, he looked at me and said "I gave them a chance, I warned them"

At the time my case was scheduled for court, he would not be available but he recommended Attorney Matthew Bennett. I am so thankful and grateful that (Matthew Bennett ), was the lawyer that I was suppose to have to represent me in court. Unfortunately, I was caught speeding one morning and the officer stated I was driving 60 and 61 miles in a 35 miles zone and was given (2) tickets by the officer, one of which was considered “reckless” driving and possibly 6 points. Unfortunately, I had been involved in two separate cases. (At two different times) I was scared and desperate for help. Someone had referred Mr. Bennett so I made plans to meet. The first time I met with him, he reviewed my case and decided to take it on. He worked hard and kept me informed. He was flexible with his time and always took initiative. I didn’t have to chase him around asking for updates. He’s very hands on without expecting any staff or other persons to do his work. He was realistic and prepared me enough to confidently walk in to fight my case. Once we went to court for the first incident, we won! He got the charges dropped! Next, my offense was more serious and was going to be an uphill battle. (I was facing jail time) I was dealing with not only the courts but the MVA as well. Again, when I went back to him he agreed and he began working on my case. First, I had to go before the MVA judge. The judge ruled I would have to participate in the interlock program for a year or I couldn’t drive. After talking with Mr. Bennett, he agreed we could appeal the decision since we had enough evidence to challenge it. After his hard work, he managed to get me off the interlock program after only 5 months instead of 12! Now we prepared for court and due to Covid we did not get a court date until 18 months after the incident. (He worked on my case the entire 18 months too!) I was petrified I may have to go to jail. Well, he got the major charge dropped. I willingly plead guilty to a lesser offense and did not receive jail time! I was elated and so grateful. I can’t say enough to relay my appreciation. He is capable, considerate and works hard for you. 5 stars all the way!

I was involved in an incident in which I was very seriously injured. The facts of the case made it very difficult to win. Nevertheless, Mr. Bennett was able to get a SUBSTANTIAL settlement for me. We spoke often about the case and he regularly gave me updates. I saw firsthand how hard he fought for me. He is extremely smart and well-versed in the law and he has great communication skills with everyone, including me, opposing counsel and the judge. As a honest person with integrity who worked hard through out life to have a good reputation and be reliable, when the police came at my door alleging that I was a criminal, yelling at the corridor to the point that neighbors would come to check what was going on, I was totally caught by surprise. It was outrageous. I was shocked. First, because the police officer alleged that I stole my own medical file from the doctors office. I will refer her as Dr. F. My present physician, Dr. S. had requested Dr. F. for my files three times, Dr. F. fail to send Dr. S. In May 2019, I had signed and sent by Certified Mail, a release form of my files to me and Dr. F. did not send anything. Had she done her job properly this whole situation would not have happened. Finding myself in a situation that I had to seek a lawyer's help to clear my name, I had initially hired Mr. M. who instead of making me comfortable, made me more stressed and clearly he was charging a much higher price for something that could have been taken care easily, alleging and even inventing possible results. I felt the need to seek for another lawyer. My daughter was the one who found Mr. Matthew Bennet. From my first conversation on the phone to the invitation for a free consultation in his office, Mr. Bennet showed to be a very honest and reliable lawyer. The was very knowledgeable and clear about my case. While the other lawyer wanted my case to go to the court for him to be able to charge more. Mr. Bennet said it was not a case for the court, but he would sent all the documents added to the receipt from my previous doctor stating that she was going to revoke the charges and made me feel that I was been taken care of. Mr. Bennet kept me informed of each step and my case did not become a nightmare, but dismissed and my name cleared. I can be me again. I recommend Mr. Bennet to whoever needs a criminal lawyer.
