I recently visited Northern Virginia and arrived late in the evening following my arrival at Dulles Airport. I rented a car , became lost in the strange environment while attempting to get to my hotel, and accidently failed to stop for a red light. I was cited by a police officer at the scene for reckless driving. Because of the Fairfax County law requiring a court appearance and the possibility of a felony conviction in a situation such as I found myself. I chose to seek counsel. I consider myself indeed fortunate to have engaged Ms. Karin Porter, Esq to represent me. Through her efforts, I was very well represented. She appeared in court in my behalf so I could return to my out of state residence, and she succeeded in having the offense reduced to "failure to stop" vice "reckless driving". Moreover, I found Karin Porter to be unfailingly professional, empathetic, and available. For me a very unpleasant experience was made much easier to get through. She's the best!

Seth Okin was an outstanding attorney from start to finish. I reached out to his law office last minute and he jumped right on to my traffic court case. He explained to me in thorough detail exactly what he could do for me and exactly what I needed to do in order to improve our chances of a good outcome. In the end, the outcome was better than good, it was great! I was found not guilty! No points, no fines, nothing! Seth was amazing! In addition, his office allowed me to do a payment plan, and although his rates are pretty reasonable, this was a big plus for me as a recent college grad. Seth never once brought up payments to me, and when I brought it up to him he told me that he “takes care of people, not money; that’s accountings job.” That’s how I knew that I was in good hands. He truly cares about his clients.
