During these uncertain times, I called on Mr. Dennis Twigg for help in drafting a will, power of attorney, and advanced directive. I can not think of a more professional, transparent, and competent individual for the job. He sat down with me and really put in the effort, listened to my concerns, and provided me with exactly what I was looking for, while also being very fair. A very professional environment and culture as well. I will call upon this office in the future if needed.

My husband and I worked closely with Dennis Twigg and his team to put together our living wills, power of attorneys and health care directives. Just need to give a thumbs up to Dennis Twigg, Esq. I needed to update my Will and Power of Attorney recently. Dennis went above and beyond to explain things to me by phone even in the midst of the coronavirsus pandemic. Once I needed to sign documents, he met me curbside at the office to execute the needed signatues. I felt safe and secure with the way Dennis met me: mask on, socially distanced and all the while friendly. I was hesitant for this part of the process but it went extraordinarily well. Mr. Bowersox provided legal advice to assist in a potential border dispute with a neighbor. He quickly assessed the situation and provided insight to not only diffuse the dispute but did so in a way that helped maintain the “neighborly” relationship.

Our Home Owners Association hired the firm of Hoffman, Comfort, Offutt, Scott & Halstad, LLP to assist us in a planning dispute that we had with the Carroll County Government. The attorney that we worked with in this matter was Mr. David Bowersox. Mr. Bowersox has been an attorney in Carroll County for more than 30 years and is well connected with the business community and with officials in the Carroll County Government. Having the services of Mr. Bowersox to offer advise based on inside knowledge of this county’s government workings, and having him work point for us in our contacts with the government, we believe helped significantly in the outcome of our dispute. Having someone known in the community with intimate knowledge of the local processes is extremely valuable and effective. Through our negotiations with the county while working with Mr. Bowersox and his team, we were able to come to an agreement that works for both sides. This is an agreement that we believe is a win-win for our community. Throughout the process, Mr. Bowersox was professional and especially fair in how the billing process worked. My husband and I met with Dennis Twigg just before the COVID-19 lock down took place in MD. Dennis spent over an hour discussing our specific needs for wills, financial powers of attorney and health care directives. He answered all of our questions and explained our options. He put together our documents and emailed them to us so we could review. Through a short phone call, he resolved our remaining questions. We met outside of his office to sign all documents due to the lockdown. The documents were witnessed, notarized and copied while we waited. We came home with everything we needed. We were very happy with the service and professionalism of Dennis Twigg and his associate. We will recommend his services to anyone in the Westminster, Carroll County area.
