Extraordinarily Committed, Passionately Thorough, Positively Protect Their Clients and Ultimately Expose Truth.... It has been barely four months since the conclusion of my jury trial, which lasted from October 29th until November 20th, 2018, over three weeks of an incredible defense by Andrew Jezic, Lauren Kollecas, and the law firms of Jezic & Moyse and Azari Law, against prosecutors and detectives, with every resource freely available to them to make me, an innocent woman, appear guilty of the murder of my husband. The jury found me NOT GUILTY on ALL charges: 1) 1st Degree Murder of my husband of 25 years 2) 2nd Degree Murder 3) Conspiracy to Commit Murder 4) Use of a Handgun in the Commission of a Crime of Violence I owe so much for all the hard work my lawyers and their team did to get this case done on the first try. It goes to show the dedication and incredible talent that they possess. I want all of that plus more to be known. I want to highlight the lack of access they had to me and the added pressure of having to literally carry the case on their own without my being able to assist significantly in my own defense. I live again as a free woman due to all their time, commitment, and tenacity. The aftermath of being detained without bond for 17 months is such a mentally and physically horrendous ordeal to endure, especially when you have been wrongly accused. When I was looking at the months, such endless months, of remaining detained without hope of bond, Mr. Jezic came and gave me the realistic reasons to stay calm and reassured. That honesty and guidance helped get me through this nightmare. Ms. Kollecas came to visit me at least every month, sometimes more, to update me on developments and keep me as involved as possible. Everyone as a combined force worked for a defense that showed the truth – I am innocent of the murder of my husband. I owe a debt of immense gratitude to my attorneys and the experts they hired who brought out the facts that may eventually help find the true murderer of my husband, the very things you expect the police and detectives to search for...It was my lawyers that did that job. Mr. Jezic’s brilliant cross-examinations brought out the truth, and his two-hour closing argument was a true masterpiece. Ms. Kollecas did a fantastic job of presenting our expert witnesses and case-in-chief. After hours of deliberation, I heard the jury say those two magic words, “NOT GUILTY”, on all counts, and I got my freedom and life back. God Bless. Our lawyer was amazing! He made sure to keep us up to date on everything, took the time to explain to us the outcomes of our options for our plea, and was with us every step of the way. Absolutely the worst lawyers I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time, money and piece of mind with these cartoon lawyers I had a criminal case with them and they did absolutely nothing with my case for 5 months there assistant Travis j Nemmer was lieing to me and deceiveing me the whole time he was lieing to me saying my allegedly co defendant said something about me when they didn't then he went on to try and get me to testify against my allegedly co defendant come to find out Travis jezic and Moyes were all conspireing with the state prosecutor to keep me locked up jezic himself came to visit me in jail and told me (it's a good thing you got to 2months in) I'm siting there looking back at him like your my lawyer suppose to be getting me out of jail but here your saying it's a good thing I got 2 months in jail. I had a bail bond review with Moyes and he didn't even take the time to go over my case he leaned over to me in court and said (what do you want me to say) I'm like your a lawyer you should be telling me what to say. All of this was just a few months ago there whole office was organized no one knew what was goin on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARED MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY WORK WITH THE STATE PROSECUTOR TO HELP KEEP YOU OR YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS LOCKED UP THEY DID IN MY CASE. I had to let the public know these lawyers a fakes so the people don't go threw what I went threw with them.

The law office had reached out to me original by mail and decided set up a last minute consultation appointment with Andrés Gonzalez a few days before my case, but he was also very understanding how delicate the situation was at short notice. Then Marice Morales came to court very early and reassess my options with me, but also made me feel more comfortable being fluent in French too. I’ve never seen a lawyer speak up in my behalf and manage to drop all major charges like it never happened.

To be completely honest, I have never done a Google review before. However, I feel it is absolutely necessary in this case. I cant even begin to describe how grateful I am for David Moyse, along with the staff at Jezic and Moyse, LLC. Without going into too much detail about my case, David Moyse went above and beyond my expectations. I have retained him for 4 separate cases within the last last year. I have had 3 attorneys from his office represent me on a few occasions in my case, and each one of them did a phenomenal job. Rand Lucy, in particular, provided one of the best defenses I have personally experienced before in my VoP hearing. Each and every time, David Moyse and his staff have certainly lived up to their reputation as one of the top law firms in the Washington, DC area. . I have had a public defender represent me in the past, and it is without a doubt a night and day difference. If it weren't for Mr. Moyse, I am not sure if I would even be sitting in the comfort of my own home writing this review right now. One thing that separates the team of Jezic and Moyse from the rest, is that they are always readily available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your case. The representation that Jezic and Moyse provide is unrivaled, as they truly make their clients feel like more than just another case or statistic as most lawyers often do. Yolanda, who I assume is Mr. Moyse's paralegal, would always call me before and after a hearing to check up on my case, which was very much appreciated. The really do set the bar high when it comes to creating a good attorney-client relationship. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the DC area in need of legal representation.
