I contacted Dierdre at a very difficult time where she provided me with valuable advice and direction on her own personal time. Extremely helpful and empathetic.

I hired Deirdre to review a divorce agreement I had worked through with a mediator with my soon to be ex-husband. Divorce can be clouded with lots of emotions and just wanting the process to be smooth and easy- she went through the agreement with me and made sure that it objectively made sense in the long run- helped me put aside some of those difficult emotions to come to something that made sense. I greatly appreciate the time, effort and patience she had with me to work through that process.

Deirdre went out of her way to help us when we had an emergency. She was VERY helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable.

I reached out to Attorney O'Brien when I lost my current attorney mid way through my child support modification case. Unfortunately, she was not able to take my case, but was super responsive and called me back (same day) to follow up with me and get more information about my needs. She even gave me a name of a lawyer who might be able to represent me, and although I really she could take my case, I appreciate her feedback and suggestions as I'm starting from scratch and didn't know who to call. She was personable, friendly and knowledgeable and would certainly be a great resource for someone if she was able to represent you. Disappointed it wasnt doable for me, but so very thankful she took the time to have a conversation with me!

Excellent service. Was always attentive and responsive to my needs and I always felt that I could count on her during every step of the divorce process. There were many tough times during my divorce and it was comforting to know that I had Deirdre in my corner.

The process took more than a year to obtain a court hearing partly due to Covid, but mostly due to the stubbornness of the wife. It took eleven months to get her to sign a settlement agreement with a lot of ugliness along the way. Deirdre was patient and persistent and had to use her considerable negotiating experience to finely convince the party to not contest. Over the entire period she helped me manage the stress by frequent progress updates, comforting advice and taking control of the negotiations. Bottom line, she got the desired results and provided peace of mind.

I have been beyond happy to receive all of Deirdre's wonderful advice. She continues to help me navigate any and all issues post divorce. She is compassionate, knowledgable and understands all the complexity. I highly recommend her and am fortunate to have her representation.

I don’t believe I could have found a better attorney to represent me during my (difficult) divorce. She meticulously presented my rights and needs and was not only kind, patient and honest, but tenacious and unreservedly candid.
