Eric Burdette at Erkan & Associates helped me resolve an outstanding case (and defaulted warrant) from over 6 years earlier. I was very intimidated at the thought of pursuing a resolution at all because I lived out of state. While Eric did not make any promises of exactly how it would go, he assured me that it wouldn't be as bad as I feared. After almost a year of hemming and hawing, I finally decided to go ahead with resolving the case. I flew into Massachusetts where I met Eric in front of the Lawrence court house, and was immediately put at ease. His friendly demeanor with me and professional demeanor with the court house helped us find a satisfactory resolution. Mr. Burdette explained to me what would happen through each step of the process. When he had the chance, he sang the praises of my recovery to the DA who offered us a probation sentence. Eric carefully explained the details of the court's offer. For years of worrying, the whole case was resolved with a few hundred dollars in fines in about 3 hours. While I don't know that I will ever need the services of Erkan Associates again, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can't say enough good things about this firm. Shah was great communicating via email to set up the initial appointment. Murat met with us and told us the case was so ridiculous and cut and dry that he didn't even want to take it but would if we wanted. After that, we opted for pro se, but Murat gave us precise instructions and templates on what to do and we got it dismissed with his guidance! He was so funny and personable. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and wants true justice in the system.
