I came to Burns Jain during the most traumatic time of my life. I was seriously injured in a bus accident and their insurance company ignored my case for years. My prior lawyer seriously undermined the case by irresponsibly failing to file certain motions in time. The sad part is that almost no lawyer will touch another’s case, not only because they are lifelong colleagues, but because most lawyers in the community tend to team up on large, financially rewarding cases. They immediately got to work, filing a lawsuit within months of taking over my case and signaling to one of the largest, commercial trucking insurance companies in the country that they are not afraid of pursuing the case all the way to trial.
