I was wrongfully 1099 by an employer, Mr. Ortiz and his firm worked very quickly and kept me in the loop throughout. I felt confident in their success from the initial interaction. I highly recommend this firm, I could not be more pleased.

I sought out Peter Calabrese as a second opinion on a settlement with my landlord during a lease breaking dispute on an apartment I was renting. Peter immediately steered me in a different, and better, direction. Not only did I end up NOT having to pay a settlement, Peter actually helped me get my security deposit back. A great experience overall!

My case was personally handled by Mr Jonathan Lang who is an associate of Mr Nicholas Ortiz. My case was nonpayment of wages. I was extremely nervous and upset going into the case but Mr Lang was calm and reassuring. He would update me as soon as new information came in and would explain what it meant. He would give me options of how to proceed and would also explain what each of these options would entail. As most would agree laws can be overwhelming and confusing to say the least he did a wonderful job of explaining everything to me. Mr Lang made me feel as though I was one of his most important clients even though my case was rather small. He was always very professional in all out interactions. Having to file a lawsuit is something nobody ever wants to do, especially when you are owed money from your previous employer who does not (for whatever reason) want to give you your wages. I had a rough experience with a past employer not paying me for many hours of hard labor, and found Raven and the guys over at Nicholas Ortiz Law Office. Right from the beginning the guys were awesome, very detailed, got everything in line and before I knew it I was getting calls from them with negotiations, 3 weeks later I was paid out double, and that is only because I wanted it to be over with, I was fully confident if I let them continue to work I would have had triple. Really can't say enough about these guys, I'm pretty sure I had 3 competent lawyers looking out for me at one point which was very reassuring. Any wage disputes, etc. just give these guys a call and stop looking around.
