He came highly recommended by an attorney friend of mine who used him in his own divorce. I am very glad I hired him to represent me in my own divorce. His counsel was invaluable at every step of the process. There was a contentious issue at the start of my divorce and I know that Steve's reputation alone probably steered the other party to give in on that central issue and not fight. I always found the billing very reasonable. I always enjoyed watching Steve interact with opposing counsel or in court because he was just so good. At our final court date my wife's attorney (the Plaintiff!!!) even deferred to Steve to present a summary of the divorce and Divorce Agreement. I don't know how often that happens. At the end of the day we came to a very fair settlement without undue expense, an outcome that appeared very unlikely at the start of the divorce. Steve comes with my unreserved recommendation.

Steve is an outstanding lawyer. I had a very difficult divorce situation. Steve approached it with a great deal of focus, skill and finesse. Most importantly, he is a problem solver. He knew when to push hard against opposing counsel when they were taking ridiculous positions, but also when to push back at me when I was taking unproductive positions, to get us to a reasonable outcome in a cost-effective manner. I have already recommended him to a number of friends, and I highly recommend his services.

I can't stress enough how much Steve's knowledge of my rights, as well as his desire to make sure my best interest was always at the forefront meant to me when I needed it most. With his help, I was able to stabilize my two daughter's everyday life by proving to a judge that their choice to take residence with their father was warranted.
