Melissa Lanouette was very kind and professional working with my disability case. She made sure I knew what to expect and answered all of my questions straight away. She was a pleasure to work with. I'm sure there are ethical and trauma-informed lawyers in MA. This firm does not embody either of those characteristics. edit: i'll add a bit of detail since another review is accusing the public of screwing this company over with bad reviews for no good reason. My lawyer, Michael, ignored my calls, I only communicated with his secretary for the most part. He gas-lit me, called me hysterical, ignored me, or lied to my face. My case was bogus in the first place. Getting it dismissed was the bare minimum of the service I expected to receive for the fee I paid. They care more about making themselves look good than making their clients feel good/validated/heard/respected. I work in health care. If I treated my clients how Michael treated me I would be out of a job. PLT should invest in getting trauma-informed training for all of their lawyers.

It seems the only way I get a call back from this firm is when I leave a bad review. It’s been almost 3 years and my case is still not settled. Every time I call, I get the run around with “they are in a meeting”. THREE YEARS. This is ridiculous. Don’t take on more cases if you can’t even settle the ones you have open!!
