Steve is, without exaggeration, the very best. He is intelligent, professional, communicative, and approachable. He represented me in a wage claim and there was never a second where I wasn't absolutely sure the right steps were being taken. He is unafraid to take on the large and well funded firms in the city and is fully equipped to come out with a victory. Legal proceedings can often get messy and difficult but Steve was there for me with an even keeled temperament and prudent advice. While Steve is more than capable of getting you the money you are owed he is even more efficient at righting wrongs. In a world of lawyers killing each other over nickels Steve actually cares about justice. The suit took a long time but it ended in a great result. In sum, Steve Churchill is a great lawyer but an even better person.

Steve helped make the best of a bad situation in an employment wage claim I had. He was always available for any questions I had and I felt he genuinely cared. He is highly intelligent but could also explain the options available to me in terms I could understand. It was also clear that he was highly regarded by both the opposing lawyer, and later the mediator. I would not hesitate to use Steve again or recommend him to someone needing an employment lawyer.

I have been a public school teacher for 30 years; it’s been my passion, my mission, my dream, and my life. I was stunned when, twelve years ago, a new principal came to my school and started to bully me with threats to my employment, false and distorted accusations, false claims on my evaluations, and routine hostile meetings during which I had to endure aggressive, irrational, and unrestrained hostility. The union helped me keep my job for all of those years, but eventually that support wore thin and so did I. Sadly, my story isn't special or unique; it's common among teachers. Everyone loves to say “Teachers should be paid more and respected more”. What people generally don’t know is that our worst abusers are the school administrators, and they usually get away with it. By the time I found myself in Steve Churchill’s office, I was hanging onto my sanity by a thread, full of self-doubt, anger, confusion, fear, and heartbreak. I needed solid, compassionate, calm, articulate, and expert legal help. That’s exactly what Steve provided. Attorney Churchill is not only an expert in employment law, but he has a talent for explaining it clearly, calmly, and patiently. He was able to absorb my complex story that covered so many years and reframe it for me in a legal context. After hours of pouring my heart out to him and hearing his feedback that he offered so kindly, I could see my situation with an informed, realistic, and well-reasoned perspective. He spent many hours sorting through my many binders full of documents and notes that I had collected over the years, composing a well thought-out strategy. I know I got the best deal in town. While his legal help was rock solid, the way he offered it with kindness and understanding was what helped me find my way back to sanity so I could navigate my legal journey and also start to rebuild my life and move forward. Attorney Churchill helped me get the justice, resolution, and closure that I was looking for, and recover my self-respect that I had sacrificed for the sake of trying to keep my job. I am forever grateful to him.

My employment case was the classic story of David vs Goliath. I was up against a billionaire that was determined not to pay my wages. Steve reviewed the facts of the case, took me on as a client and suddenly the playing field was leveled. The case was a 5 year battle and Steve never wavered. Always a phone call away when I had a question or concern. No matter what the opposing counsel tried to do Steve always seemed to out maneuver them. Steve's experience, knowledge of the law, and his litigation skills are exceptional. Our case eventually went to a jury trial...we won! The opposing side appealed...we won! The opposing side finally settled when they ran out of options. The result of the case was a payday of over a half a million dollars. This NEVER would have happened if Steve Churchill did not take my case 5 years earlier. He stood beside us the entire time and was ready to fight the good fight. I cannot say enough about Steve. He changed my life. Steve is passionate about fairness in the workplace. At a time in my life I needed someone most - Attorney Steven Churchill was there for me. Steve took on my case when most lawyers leaned away from it and he won my case.....big time! first of all this was a crazy case that lasted 3 years with the twists and turns that a Hollywood movie couldn't write. Greg stuck with it the whole way, thinking through strategy, checking facts, law, consulting with other lawyers to make sure the strategy was sound. always on time, easy to get ahold of, and easy to work with. most of all takes what he does very seriously, and is great in court. i would absolutely hire him again if i ever have the need.
