I felt very overwhelmed with my case and I dealt with a lot of lawyers before being referred to Tucker at Sweeney Merrigan Law and I was so happy to finally find someone who I could trust to take care of everything without having to be on their case. Tucker was really honest and hard working and willing to take the time to explain everything In detail and “dumb” it down for us to understand our options. I’m so thankful we ended up with him because he really helped us get some justice. Highly highly recommend!

After a nasty fall and surgery and getting no where with the facility insurance company, I was referred to Sweeney Merrigan Law by an old friend in Maine. Tucker Sweeney was a strong advocate for my case and worked tirelessly to produce a cash settlement well beyond my expectations. All of the staff put in the time to get to know me and my situation and were in constant contact over the many months it took to settle the case. I was very impressed with the strong negotiating tactics of Tucker and his unwavering support for me and my family. In the end, I received an $80,000 settlement from a slip and fall accident on slippery concrete floor at a sports facility. I can not say enough good things about Sweeney Merrigan! Tucker represented me for an injury I had sustained at a family members house. I had pretty much broken my entire right arm from shoulder to fingers. I Was unable to work and had a long stressful recovery ahead of me while being a single mom. Tucker made my life easy when it came to everything. He set me up with everything I needed and more. From borrowing money on my claim to pay my bills to just checking in and making sure I was ok. I didn’t have to worry about that aspect of things. He was very proactive and was able to settle things very easily and secured the maximum payout from the insurance company. If I ever had a question, him and his staff were very punctual and accommodating with returning calls or getting an answer for me. I could not recommend a better lawyer or company. They truly went above and beyond for me and I am very appreciative of that. They made this terrible situation so much easier for me. I did not have to worry about the legality aspect and I could just focus on healing. Fast forward a year, I am healed and was able to use my settlement to buy a house for my daughter. I am so thankful for everything they have done.

There are thousands of attorneys. I am sure they are all good. However, if you want an attorney that is honest, caring, genuine and really takes the time to listen to you..... Sweeney Merrigan is who you want. Everyone in the office is professional, caring and understanding.

Can't rave enough about Peter Merrigan. What a phenomenal lawyer, person, and human being to have by your side through what would potentially be a very stressful and trying time. I suffered a number of large losses after being hit by a car a few years ago. Other lawyers (even those considered Boston's best) either didn't or couldn't achieve what Peter achieved. Where others turned down the case thinking it was too much work or not worth it for them, Peter didn't and we got everything we asked for from the insurance company. His high intelligence, good nature, calming demeanor, creativity and likability made what would be an awful process a pleasant one and I'm left with good memories from the process. He also uses language that you can relate to and understand, e.g. I am a kayaker and he would use river analogies to explain concepts :) Other lawyers/arbitrators can't help but like him too (who wouldn't?) and that is helpful during the entire legal process. You shouldn't go anywhere else ..you don't need to! So glad I found Peter and if I ever need legal assistance again ..I'm not going anywhere else. Thanks to Peter Merrigan who took my case and got me a settlement that I thought I would never get and got me 10 times what I hope I would get. He is the most honest person I ever met.
