Christopher Shannon and his firm handled our recent home purchase. At the outset, the purchase was expected to be standard and straightforward. However, an unexpected deficiency in the insurance of the building made the insurance unacceptable to the lender and substantially complicated the transaction. Christopher did an outstanding job helping us resolve this complication. He was willing to explore all options for resolving the problem, articulated the pros and cons very clearly, and was very effective in negotiating the resolution that we wanted. He and his staff were patient, courteous and, professional, all of which contributed to very pleasant interactions. I would strongly recommend him as a real estate attorney.

We worked with Christopher Shannon on the purchase of our home in Brookline. The process was somewhat involved - since, as we were, literally, minutes from handing over the deposit we discovered evidence of a significant structural problem in the house, and had to extract ourselves from the purchase. When we finally found our current home - he and his office helped us work through some fairly involved logistics related to closing and funds transfer (we were out of the country for the closing and Christopher and his team were fantastic).
