I unfortunately needed recent representation for a 2015 divorce, due to my X not acting appropriately, especially regarding our young children. I fortunately came across Lauren Popovitch LLC when searching for a attorney. Leaving all(or most) of the personal details out of this review, I’d like to pass on to anyone reading my review to know some facts about Lauren and her firm. I received a call back from Lauren immediately. Time being of the essence, I was offered an immediate meeting(the next morning). The 2 and a half year ordeal that the legal system put my and my children through was not a fun ride. Lauren and her staff(all of them, all of the time) were incredibly accommodating as well as empathetic to my situation. Lauren was spot on with every single move(or decision), she’s an excellent listener with an unbelievable memory for facts and law. Lauren was pleasant and respectful to everyone involved, but a pit-bull(no offense to anyone or pit-bull lovers(especially you Lauren) when it came to my rights as a client and father or the best interest of my children. Lauren would NOT allow the courts, my X-wife or her attorney to manhandle or even TRY to play the system. My children were her top priority! She was very successful in this long drawn out case. It was emotionally draining. Lauren and her staff gave me the support, time, patience and attention required to make me feel as if I was their only client. I couldn’t be happier about how I was treated as a client and a human being. I thank God for guiding me and making the right decision in hiring Lauren to represent me. I don’t typically write reviews, but trying to pass on whatever I could in regards to her talents is a pleasure. Lauren and her team are excellent. It was challenging for me to raise the retainer, but absolutely worth it (both figuratively and, ultimately, financially). I was frustrated and stressed about the divorce because it was unnecessarily hostile and there was plenty of room for things to get worse, but Lauren brought a non-nonsense approach and secured the best possible outcome for me. She and her staff are responsive, professional, and pro-active. I'm very glad I hired her.

Lauren is not only a strong advocate for her clients, but she is an effective dismantler of the opposition. I am not surprised that every client of hers recommends her. For nearly 3.5 years I faced the onslaught of an unrelenting and malicious ex-wife that hired multiple bigwig lawyers from large to boutique law-firms. Everything that I had worked towards in life was assaulted including my reputation, future prospects, integrity, and my mental peace. The opposing counsel had effectively stacked all the odds in their favor by leveraging every stereotype, misrepresentation, falsehood, and gimmick that can be imagined. To top it all off they entangled my work colleagues and attorneys also There were so many instances where I thought that the truth would not prevail, and that the opposing counsel would succeed in influencing and persuading the judge. However, Lauren artfully and methodically sailed through the process while maintaining a level of certainty and confidence that never let the case falter. After all was said and done, I came out on top thanks to Lauren. She can be rough around the edges but her commitment and conviction to help her clients is undeniable in the results she produces. This ruggedness of hers is an asset in family courts where things can get downright nasty. She is forceful and passionate. Provide her with all the ammunition and prep materials you can and she can be a hammer for every court room nail.

I don’t easily get impressed with people since I work with the top scientists in the world. However, I am really impressed with Lauren and give Lauren 5 out of 5 for the following reasons. I got divorced in 2016 and have a shared custody of my son. My ex got remarried. She then decided to make my life miserable by filing multiple cases in 2020. I was totally blindsided, and did not know where to begin. Luckily, I got Lauren’s reference from a friend. Lauren was very responsive from day one and within no time, she knew everything about my cases. My ex had hired a super aggressive attorney who implemented nasty tactics. However, Lauren was able to defend the cases very well.. Her entire team is really good. I saw Lauren’s emails during weekends, late at nights. She worked round the clock on my cases. I can’t thank Lauren enough for such a good outcome and always standing by me. I can see why Lauren is rated as one of the top attorneys and received so many awards. Lauren is not only super intelligent but also really good when it comes to drafting agreements. She corrected all the errors in the separation agreement that I made at the time of divorce (I wish I had hired Lauren during my divorce). Many thanks to Lauren and her team. If Lauren was a sportsperson instead of an attorney, she would have won a bunch of Olympic gold medals in shooting by hitting the bullseye every time.. She is always that precise and accurate in her legal arguments and preparation.

Lauren and her team protected me though my case with profession and compassion. She has a thorough knowledge of the law and easily out-maneuvered the opposing council during trial. She was open about the various options we had throughout the process and gave me an honest assessment of the relative pros and cons of taking different routes. She always made sure I wasn’t compromising when I didn’t have to, and told me straight-up when I needed to adjust the way I was thinking about things. She was tireless and attentive, and her ability to keep her focus on making sure the final judgment was fair to me kept me from giving up during an overly long and drawn out case where the opposition’s strategy seemed to be to try to get me to concede out of exhaustion and frustration. My ex-spouse was seeking, among other things, long-term alimony and provision of health insurance. Instead, I ended up being awarded almost six figures in asset division and did not have to provide alimony or insurance. Even after legal fees, Lauren saved me over $300,000 compared to the settlement proposal that the other side had proposed. Divorce is miserable.
