Kim sweet is a thief and a liar. I hired attorney sweet to handle an emotionally taxing and complicated case against a family member. Attorney sweet lied about the discovery deadline and allowed it to lapse. I became aware of this when the opposing side motioned for summary judgement and realized Attorney sweet let the deadline lapse 6 months prior without completing a single deposition or filing a motion to compel. Kim shamlessly kept billing for discovery related costs, despite being aware of the lasped deadline, at no point did attorney sweet keep her promises to complete discovery, refund any monies Paid for discovery, or even attempt to extend or reopen discovery on my case. Randall barron has protected her and refused to return my calls as her business partner. Run from this firm.

Not a very good experience with Attorney Christine Hudson. We felt she was inexperienced with our guardianship case. As the case moved forward we did not trust her or her knowledge. We felt she did not have our backs. The more we questioned her or asked for explanations even if it was repetitive she got frustrated and we got frustrated. She wouldn’t listen to us when we would explain to her what the future held for us just wanted us to accommodate the opposing side. In court, she didn’t have the fight in her only if it was in our favor. She ended up withdrawing from our case.

Randall Barron of Barron & Sweet was recommended to us by our real estate agent since we were going to be selling our house in Acton and purchasing a condo in Westwood MA. Randall was excellent. He responded to our questions quickly and accurately. He kept us informed of each step, provided us with sound guidance, and even after both closings he continued to assist us with a local property tax issue. My wife and I closed the sale of our home and horse property in Harvard, (Worcester County) MA on 6/11/21. We selected Randall Barron of Barron & Sweet in Concord, MA to represent us. Even though the transaction involved a specialty property, the lead up to and the actual closing went off flawlessly. Prior to this event we had not met Randall, he was referred to us by our Realtor. Communication was always timely, responsive and accurate. That was the case not only with Randall but with Denise Sheridan of his team as well. If an issue or question arose, they dealt with it professionally without delay. We were so pleased with Randall & Sweet that we asked Randall to represent us in the purchase of our home in the Village of Padanaram, South Dartmouth, (Bristol County) MA. A seemingly simpler real estate transaction became complex leading to a delay in the original closing date. Neither party caused the delay but Randall made certain that communication channels remained open and as clear as possible for all affected parties. During that nervous period of uncertainty, the Real Estate agent representing our interest as Buyers in Bristol County, who had no prior experience with Barron & Sweet, expressed to us how glad she was that Randall was on top of the situation. A potential 30 day slippage was contained to 10 days with a 7/20/21 closing. All parties were satisfied and we highly recommend Barron & Sweet LLP to any party or entity seeking real estate counsel. Randy was diligent, thorough and kept us calm on a long and difficult real estate deal where we were buying from a developer. Can’t recommend. Him enough and wouldn’t think of using anyone else now.

A family member highly recommended that I hire Randall to do the closing of my home because she (as a paralegal) felt he would be best to serve me. She was absolutely right! I never had to buy or sell a house in my life until the recent death of my husband which changed all that. Randall was compassionate and professional. Randall Barron was hired by me and my family to handle the legal aspects of the sale of our family home. My husband, a realtor, was the listing Broker, and worked closely with Randy. Attorney Barron helped us with the sale of our home. He was recommended by another attorney whom we had a lot of respect for. It was clear from the start that Mr Barron was extremely knowledgeableand professional, but very easy to work with and friendly. He helped us with all of the negotiations, gave us the right answers and excellent advice. Even after the closing he made himself available for an issue that came up, and helped to defuse a potentially litigious problem. We have had the pleasure of Randy's legal expertise and advice in several real estate transactions. The last one turned out to be more complicated than expected since a lawyer hired by a large bank had not picked up a title and mortgage mistake in a refinance transaction. Thanks to Randy never missing the smallest detail, the issue was resolved with no impact on our most recent closing. Sometimes you meet someone whom you know you can always trust, no matter how large (and we have had those) or how small (and we have had those, too) the issue requiring legal representation. Randy is gracious and kind and available all the time and expedient in all matters. He is the easy part of buying and selling properties.

We retained Randy on the sale of our residential house in 2015. We quickly came to realize that Randy seemed to be available 24 hours a day using the technology of today to communicate(we thought, when does he sleep?). He was very attentive to our real estate needs, answered all questions that were asked. He was especially very accommodating when our first closing fell apart, and we had to start over with another buyer. It was a trying experience as it took us until the third interested buyer to finally sell the house. I would definitely recommend Randy for any and all of your real estate transaction needs.
