After an incident I began a search to find an attorney for my brother. After speaking with many attorneys I was totally disgusted and felt that I was being taken advantage of due to the charges. It seemed every attorney I spoke with dramatized and tried to put the fear of God in my brother with out even hearing the actual facts.... Then on Sunday afternoon I decided to start my search again and on the second ring Attorney Michael Chinman picked up, I briefly described the situation and he asked me a few questions and set up a consultation for the next day, not to mention he drove 45 minutes to meet with us. He was calm, upfront, brutally honest and very experienced . My brother felt so comfortable within the first 10 minutes and wanted to hire him on the spot . I have never met an attorney so genuine and one that cares more about his reputation and clients than he does the mighty dollar and it shows. A good reputation and happy satisfied clients will only bring more clients. Unfortunate reviews along with trying to scare and manipulate clients into hiring you will only scare future clients away, just like the other four attorneys that loss a potential client. . I highly recommend this attorney!!

Wow, I was so amazed by how genuine and caring she was. If you want someone in your corner to fight for you then she's the one! You can tell she does her job to help people and it shows. Lissa McKinney is my hero. I was in a difficult position being taken advantage of by my former employer struggling to take care of things on my own. I had been working in my position for four years with conditions becoming difficult in the last year, culminating in a refusal of payment for work completed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was shut out, left with no income and no real options. I talked about it with Lissa and she jumped right in. She took the time to understand and clarify my case, strengthening my original argument and finding more liability that compounded the severity to my employer, having the matter entirely resolved in two weeks. My case started with my employer refusing to pay for work that had been completed, breaking contractual obligations. I had been dealing with it alone for months, mostly being ignored by my employer who seemed to believe that if he didn’t respond to anything, it wasn’t happening. Then, I got in contact with Lissa. She went through the case and, in her infinite wisdom, found that it was much more than just a failure to pay a contractor, but was actually a Wage Act case relating to 93A and misclassification of an employee. With the threat of a much larger suite, Lissa wrote a demand letter that clearly outlined the severity of the situation and the expectations we had to be willing to consider the matter resolved. The next day we had a response and began negotiations. By the end of the week, I received partial payment from my employer. The next week, we signed an agreement, final payment was issued, and the matter was resolved. Lissa made it possible for me to move on with my life. Working with Lissa was great. She has a vast knowledge of the governing law and procedures, which made me feel very confident in approaching my employer. Her advice during negotiations was very fair and realistic, she made it very easy to understand what was happening and what my options were. Lissa never made decisions for me; she advocated on my behalf and suggested what she might do, but was very adamant that what we did was my choice. If there were any updates or if she had questions, she called me immediately and sorted it out. By the end of my first phone call with her, I felt so much more confident and relieved; finally, I had help. Lissa is brilliant, personable, and effective. For the work she did and the weight she lifted from me, her fees were incredibly reasonable. I really cannot express how appreciative I am to her. It is evident in her work and her communication how much she cares for her clients and the work she does. With Lissa, I got more than I could have hoped for.
