Attorney Lisa Kent did an outstanding job handling my divorce. She worked diligently throughout my case to ensure that my best interests were first and foremost. When Lisa advised me, she considered all the aspects of my current situation and my future endeavors as well. Not only did she help with the legalities and financial matters of divorce but she also showed genuine concern and consideration for my emotional well being. Without Lisa's guidance, knowledge and keen litigation skills, settlement deliberations could have been prolonged for many months and/or resulted in a costly trial but with her expertise, a settlement agreement was reached in less than 6 months. Let me start by saying my case was very complicated and lengthy. Ms. Kent won my case, because of her intelligence and dedication to my case and my family. We did not only win, we ended up in the best place to protect my children. Not only did she help me win, she was flexible with me on payments and has remained interested in the well-being of my family. We shed tears together over my case. I 100% recommend Ms. Kent to anyone that wants a lawyer that truly cares for her clients and their families.

In the midst of a very painful divorce, I was unable to see the forest for the trees. I was so overwhelmed and frozen in sadness that I had made no progress on the logistical steps necessary. In one hours time, Lisa had me feeling focused and empowered. We discussed many of the details and she was compassionate but kept me on track when I wanted to just cry about my heartbreak. She helped me to see what was appropriate and legal, she helped me organize and by the next day she had put together an excellent proposal. With that proposal in place, I felt a huge shift in my confidence in interacting with my former partner about the divorce. Lisa Kent is simply the most competent divorce attorney in Greenfield Massachusetts. She is first and foremost a professional. My divorce was complicated because it not only involved division of property, but also child custody. Attorney Kent was always organized, timely and constantly pushing my divorce forward. Our final settlement was fair for both parties. It still stung because it was divorce . . . and that “sucks” . . . Ultimately I am so glad I selected Lisa Kent as my attorney. She represented my best interest throughout the entire process.

My review of Lisa would be that she did an excellent job of my case. I may not have liked some of the outcome of my case but it bolied down to the best interest of my child.

Ms. Kent was lost when it came to finding her evidence. She had important evidence excluded from the trial by improperly delivering it to the defendants attorney in a timely manner. My preps for trial were done at the last minute for both segments of the trial, thus I was poorly ready to testify. Defendants atty informed her that she was done trying to negotiate a settlement but Ms. Kent continued to send her settlement offers rather than taking the time to prepare for trial. A case that had a large quantity of proof of fiscal misconduct on the part of my ex, which should have been a slam dunk, she ignored and in the end, the judgement was that I was the one who had the problem. She also had papers turned in at the last minute without me being able to review before hand which were not correct. They were signed by her as my atty. This is not sour grapes because I lost, this is about the experience that I had with her as my atty and would not recommend her.
