Joel prepared living trusts and other legal documents for my wife and me in a very efficient fashion, addressing several concerns we had and promplty answering many questions. We highly recommend him.

My wife and I worried that setting up our “living trust” would be time consuming and complex. It could not have been more simple. We met via Zoom meetings ( just 2 meetings) to get an understanding of the process and an overview of the product we had chosen. We filled out a workbook with our assets and we discussed beneficiaries and sent back any critical information to Joel. Our next meeting was a 30 minute in-person session where we validated the paperwork and signed the forms. Joel made the experience a pleasant one by laying out any complexities and explaining them in a clear and simple way and and answering any questions we had. The whole process took us no longer than a few hours. I highly recommend calling Joel Bernstein if you need to create a Will or Trust.

Twice I have retained Joel Bernstein, first time for settling an estate and the second for establishing one. From the outset, he has been forthright with his opinions, clear with client responsibilities and logical in his recommendations. My husband and I went to see Joel expecting to have Our Wills, Health Proxy, Trust and all estate planning prepared. When Joel heard that we were looking for a lower tax burden state to move to like Florida or New Hampshire, he immediately stopped us and told us that he would be wasting our money by proceeding, as every state has differing estate planning laws. We asked him if he could do a boiler plate for us to take to another state. He said that this too would be a waste of our money and provided us with a trusted referral in New Hampshire. Who does this????? Only an honest man! He’s a one of a kind.
