Deciding to engage the legal services of attorney Jamie Gorton is one of the best decisions that I made. I was looking for an immigration attorney to represent the complicated case of a family member. Before deciding to work with attorney Gorton, I had interviewed another six law firms that either did not understand the particulars of the case, did not give it too much of a chance, wanted a hefty fee upfront with no guarantees of success or were totally ignorant of the process. The first time that I met attorney Gorton, I was impressed by his honesty, sincerity and by his human understanding of the immigrant’s predicament. He understood exactly what was needed it to move my case forward, there was no hesitation on accepting the case. It took almost two years (due to the pandemic) to bring my case to a successful outcome. During that time attorney Gorton did not remain idle, he conducted the necessary research and retrieved the many documents needed for this case. Frankly, I expected that he would have charged me an additional amount for all this extra work and rightfully so; however, he never increased the amount agreed at the beginning of the agreement. He was always available from beginning to end and when was time to have the interview with Immigration, he was there with us not only to answer any questions but also for support. I am very thankful for his kindness, perseverance, his commitment and hard work in handling my case and I am sure that he handles all the cases in the same manner. I would definitely and highly recommend attorney Jamie Gorton to anyone having an immigration case, no matter how complicated it may be.
