We have used Hornung & Scimone on two occasions. The first occasion to guide us with the acquisition of our condo and the second occasion in the sale of our home. We were made aware of the Hornung & Scimone group by way of a recommendation by our real estate agent whose recommendations of other organizations up to that point we immensely helpful. Hornung & Scimone assembled a team that took ownership of all legal aspects and drove all issues and topics to successful closure. The team would spend as much time as I needed to understand an issue or a proposed solution and were effective in their explanations. Some topics took a little time (to explain to me) others we moved through quickly, the entire team were patient and accommodating. The team was wonderfully proficient making these complex real estate acquisition and sale processes simple and seamless for us. There was one issue that needed attention due to an error made by another organization's attorney with the original sale of the house. Derek, our Hornung & Scimone attorney, researched available mitigation options and after a brief discussion we had an effective low risk solution which was selected and executed. It is such a great feeling to engage professional services organizations that are proficient and yield great outcomes in the execution of being their client's advocate.
