This is the second closing David Scimone has handled for us. David and team were very responsive and went above and beyond during negotiations and development of a purchase and sale agreement that had some unusual parameters. We will have a couple more closings in the next few months and will definitely be contacting Hornung & Scimone to represent us.

David Scimone was our attorney during the purchase of our house. We could not have been luckier to come across his firm. He is extremely efficient, knowledgeable, nice and took such good care of our case from A to Z. Buying a house is such a stressful and painful process usually, but quite frankly David has made everything look seamless. One very convenient thing was that he was able to work directly and for our mortgage agent, so our overall attorney cost was lowered (significantly) and the whole the experience was completely straightforward from our perspective. We knew we didn't have to worry about anything. I would highly recommend David to anyone!

I had talked to Mr. Rodman regarding a work issue. Though the phone consult was brief, he was very responsive to my questions and answered all my questions/concerns. The office assistant was very kind and courteous. Their follow up to my initial email was quick and effortless. I was able to get a phone appointment consultation with 48 hours of contacting the office. I would highly recommend them if the need arises.

We can’t say enough positive things about Scott Sellers of Hornung & Scimone. We recently closed on our dream vacation getaway at the Cape, and Scott was instrumental in making this happen for us. Scott was eminently knowledgeable, savvy, and very responsive — he made himself available to answer any and all of our (many) questions, worked tirelessly on our behalf, and guided us expertly through this process - which can be daunting enough for a first time buyer when it’s a conventional transaction, let alone when the deal involves a tricky REO as did ours. Scott navigated us through the oft times tumultuous waters in dealing with the mercurial banks (think George Clooney in “Perfect Storm”), culminating in his coming through in the clutch when we were hit by an unexpected rogue wave at the eleventh hour — in his calm, steady and professional fashion — shepherding us through the storm, getting the job done and sealing the deal for us. When unforeseen events (inexplicably) made it seemingly impossible for us to meet our closing deadline, Scott rose to the challenge, unphased, first patiently allowing us to vent and strategize, and then kicking it up into high gear when necessary to finalize the process in an expedited and efficient manner. Result? Success, and happy new homeowners! Needless to say, Scott was a key component in guiding us through this unfamiliar and sometimes stressful process of home ownership. We are grateful to him. We recommend him wholeheartedly and enthusiastically!
