I have to commend Scott Sellers at Hornung and Scimone. He handled the closing on my recent home purchase and he made it simple and pain free. Scott and his team handled every detail promptly and professionally and had everything ready to go when I showed up to the office for the closing. A few signatures and I left the office with an organized packet of paperwork and a key to my new home.

We were so fortunate to have Hornung and Scimone represent us at our two recent closings. Kathryn is simply the best. She is informative, professional, communicative, and brilliant. She helped us through some very difficult issues and did so, without skipping a beat. We highly recommend her and will look forward to doing business with her again in the future!

Even though I am a real estate agent myself, when my fiance and I recently sold our home and purchased another, I was like any other buyer or seller, nervous...wanting the process to be streamlined and smooth, and hoping that our attorney would be diligent, helpful and approachable. Working with David Scimone checked every one of those boxes. He is super thorough and organized, making sure that all the components of the sale and transaction are completed in a timely manner and he is easy to reach via phone or email with quick response times to questions or clarifications that might be needed. He also does excellent and thorough title work, so good in fact- that he found a potentially significant title issue on the first home we were going to purchase that even the seller and listing agent didn't know about. We ended up purchasing a different home instead, partially because of that knowledge and are very happy that we found out about a potential problem BEFORE not after we purchased. We love the home we ended up with and from start to finish found David and his staff to be personable, helpful, and reliable. I have already recommended him to clients and would definitely use him again for my personal real estate transactions.
