I was referred to them from a lawyer friend. They must do good work elsewhere, but not for me, probably because my divorce case was too small a fish to warrant their attention. The turn around on inquiries was often multiple days, and while I was generally tolerant of that, on one or two occasion that really hurt things. And even if your client ventures out to file the divorce complaint themselves, a good lawyer would make sure the client understands the quirky logistics of returning the summons. You would certainly mention the mandatory rule 410 disclosure, which I only found out about while interviewing my next lawyer (90 days late). And you make sure everything is lined up before the date of exchanging the financial statement, you don't need last clarifications in the middle of your client's workday. And you actually sign the form before being exchanged, so that it doesn't all go to waste. Now I spent $5K in fees without having made any progress whatsoever, except for having a draft financial statement that wasn't exchanged properly.
