I've had the pleasure of being in two roles with Attorney Hooker and his staff. For the past year I've provided professional care for one of their clients, and have had to closely coordinate with several of their staff to arrange appointments, discuss challenging clinical issues, and facilitate conversations between staff and my client. I can't speak highly enough about the thoughtfulness and sensitivity brought to a range of very difficult circumstances on behalf of this mutual client. The responsiveness and effectiveness of the staff has also been exceedingly professional and efficient. I have to say I never write reviews but i felt that i needed to in this case and i was shocked to read negative reviews on Atty Hooker and his staff. I can't praise them enough for their help with my aunt's Medicaid & Estate issues. I didn't know where to turn and i was directed to Mike by a friend and Jill responded to my email immediately as did Atty Hooker. He came into his office on a Saturday to meet with me the day after my email. We have been in constant communication ever since. I knew nothing about Medicaid or finances or how to deal with all of the issues that come with caring for an elderly relative. They were fantastic and they know all of the ins/outs of the Medicaid process and so much more. Do not hesitate to call them, you will be happy that you did

Stay away! If you are seeking an attorney whose is respectful and actually listens to circumstances, Michael and his awful assistant are not it! He also doesn't return calls or messages until prompted by another attorney and his callous nature should be the first sign to seek help elsewhere. What is truly surprising is the fact that his practice centers around dealing with the elderly where compassion and understanding are paramount.

Atty. Michael Hooker is very personable and compassionate, with the experience to consider all perspectives - emotional, financial, and personal. He and his staff have been quick, competent and accurate, while offering support to our family through estate planning stages and the difficult end of life decisions. He even made a last-minute personal weekend visit to our home to ensure that our needs were being met!
