Ok so now I definitely know this woman is running a scam taking peoples retainers with her flat fee agreement and doing nothing to earn the 2500 she charges. I hired her and fired her and have yet to get any acknowledgment from her about my demand for my money back. I was just contacted by another client she just ripped off as well. This makes 3 of us in the past 3 or four months that I know of. If you have been a victim of hers and that's what we are victims… people in need of legal help in a bind and believing we are paying someone to WORK for us and represent us only to get blown off with little to nothing done...please contact me. The more voices the merrier. This is a lawyer that thinks flat fee agreements mean you make a call or two and get 2500 dollars. Im determined to legally show her differently.

I am so saddened to hear that another person has had to experience what my family has with this lawyer. I wish i read that review before i hired her. I knew from the moment i went to her office that i should have just left and i didnt follow my instinct. She was triple booked when i walked in on time for our meeting which was a consult i was paying her 150 dollars for (which she didnt take out of her fee when we hired her). I sat there for and hour and 15 minutes while she saw the client she had in her office along with the client she had waiting for her( who had the same appointment time as me). I was in a bind with my childs school, i had rented a car to get there, traveled for over an hour to get there so i stayed feeling like i had already invested too much into it. My mother in law begged me to stay so i did. I should have left. We had the meeting and i paid her the consult fee and hired her. After that i chased her not getting phone calls back not recieving information on time and only getting vital information when i called her NOT when she recieved it. I never felt like I was a client I never felt like I was a concern. My child was sitting home for a month I had to take him out of school because it was no longer safe for him there so every day was important and something he cant get back. At first i thought it was the school dragging their feet it wasnt unfortunately it was her. I am lucky that i am a fighter at heart who has great supports and many resources. If i wasnt my child would probably still be home. I finally had to fire her which we had a meeting about that she put off for two weeks. She wanted to me to create another opportunity for her to do her job after i had gotten my son in school without her even knowing because she never followed up or did what she was supposed to. The moment was gone....the time i needed her was over with. The meeting was so uncomfortable to say the least. i thought we were there to discuss terms of us parting ways and me getting my money back she thought she was gong to get me to create unnecessary meetings (on her time she had available no less) to give her the opportunity to do what she should have in the first place. Ummm...no. She made me feel like i was breaking up with someone who didnt get the message. I had to bring up the subject even it was so unprofessional . My case was simple...so easy. All she had to do was call and give me information and follow through and she couldnt even do that. Dont get me wrong she CAN but i was not her priority clearly. Now i am waiting for her to call me about my money which was supposed to be today. keep your 2500 and find someone who will work for you. I have paid criminal attorneys who have helped a family member keep their freedom less and they did an outstanding job and actually had too do work.This was one of the most stressful periods in my life and she added to the stress ...now im stressed about this on top of everything else. If she did a great job for you then in my opinion you were lucky. I dont want anyone else to go through what my family had to... beware

Cynthia is a very smart attorney and knows her stuff ..but as far as her defending and working with her clients I feel that she has bad communication in my experience with her she asked to be paid and was very understanding and allowed me to pay in installments but I have paid 90% of her fee and I feel that she was capable of doing what she was hired for in the beginning..I'm not happy with her service at all rate now I can only speak from my experience with her ..she maybe better in other cases but my case wasn't hard at all and I feel that she coulda done way more in two months of me hiring her she has failed to file any kind of motion or correct documentation defending my case ..so I have decide to withdraw her from my case for not doing more for my case when I no from experience that more could of been done ..I feel like she is taking her time so that once our times up she'd throw another fee on me and that's the truth ..she and the majority of attorneys suffer from that ..why she's taking her time working my case my sons remaining away from his family and crying every night while Cynthia has no kids does not no how that feels I'm requesting my money back and I'll update this and see if most of my money is refunded ..also I have completely every single task and then some and she hasn't reached out to me to see if they were done because if she had reached out to me and my tasks were complete she coulda filed a motion and my son would be back home instead of being out of home lost alone and crying every night all his family are unhappy with her service so I would say this for future advice don't pay her in full until works done because she's very very smart knows her stuff but takes her time so that she can get more money ...just speaking truth and I'm not one to ever ever do this to a lawyer ..I'm sorry but she's provided very very poor service as far as my case goes and another thing my son was taken not because of me but because he was breaking curfew this case is petty and she coulda buy now had him gone but I can see rate thru her and she's taking her time so that she can ask for more money ...I had no problem paying or paying any lawyer but you get paid to work not to sit there take your time and not work for what you've been paid it's wrong and she was very wrong to do that to me and my family ...sincerely Eleana paris
