Attorney Inna Rifman was my legal representative for a speeding ticket. When we first spoke on the phone, Inna gathered all the information and documentation I had from the speeding event and immediately identified laws that the Officer didn't follow properly. I have a driving history, and Inna was honest and told me that my history could make things difficult, but she would still fight for me and try every avenue possible. When it came to my appeal date, Inna was able to move the date to be prepared appropriately in court. On the new appeal date, Inna and I reviewed her strategy, and she coached me on what not to say in the courtroom. Before entering the courtroom, Inna was making her rounds in the courthouse and giving me updates on who the Judge was and how they were. Inna made me feel comfortable and confident before seeing the judge. Ultimately, the judge found me not responsible for the speeding ticket. INNA RIFMAN FOR THE DEFENSE This is a review of the legal support I received from Inna Rifman at this morning’s traffic court hearing. Inna was terrific! I am so grateful that Inna was my legal rep at this morning’s traffic court hearing. We had already spoken twice by phone about my speeding ticket (plus other included infractions). We met in-person just before going into the hearing room, and she gave me instructions for what to do (“don’t say anything”) and she explained her approach would be to listen to the officer’s side of the traffic stop before giving my side. When it came to “our” turn, Inna stood and gave my side of the story, including my clean driving record from Illinois. The judge agreed with Inna’s request to drop the ticket if I kept my driving record clean for another 3 months. What a game changer! I’ve never had a hearing for a traffic ticket before, and I’d never recommend doing that without some legal representation like Inna Rifman!
