Andrew accomplished nothing for me on multiple levels. He misrepresented evidence or just didn’t admit it into the case. Don’t waste your money on him get some one better. Someone that isn’t just looking for his next paycheck.

Attorney Norton represented me recently where the DOR was seeking money from me for child support. The DOR representative initially wanted an amount I could not afford by any means, but by the time we left the courthouse, the DOR representative continued the case after she stated she was ready to "go to trial with this case."

When you are going through a difficult legal issue your life is turned upside down. After meeting with Andrew the first time I left his office calm, and confident that I was going to be well represented and that I was in very good hands. He is very professional and very personable to work with and our meetings/phone calls always ended with me being well informed , confident with our path and so at peace that I knew Andrew was representing me. That is a wonderful feeling to have knowing that your attorney "has got this for you".

I dreaded my divorce because I dreaded attorneys. Fortunately a friend got me in touch with attorney Raymond. Attorney Raymond was amazing throughout the entire process. She was exceptionally professional from the day I went for my consultation. Attorney Raymond explained everything to me every step of the way. There were many times I could not believe she kept her cool when opposing counsel began playing games. Every other time I was involved with attorneys no matter how bad the fight they were always courteous and responsive to each other even though they were in heated battle in the courtroom. Opposing counsel was so bad I am filing a complaint with the MBA She never let it get to her she kept that professional courteous attitude no matter what. She also kept me grounded when I would get upset with his actions and begin to dig my toes in the sand, she would pull me back to reality and tell me "we can't control their actions but we can control ours." That is such a great statement it applies to all aspects of our lives. She was also sensitive to the emotional aspect of what I was going through and was supportive when I needed it. She gave me a little hope for attorneys. I would just like to say THANK YOU Lisa you helped me through an incredibly tough time and treated me more like a friend than a client it was nice how personable you were. You helped me protect my children and that is the greatest thing anyone could do for me in this world. That is something I will never forget and can never thank you enough for. Your staff was also very friendly an professional and were a pleasure to be involved with.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Bruce Raphael as my personal lawyer on a recent court case, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of amazing. Mr. Raphael's intelligence, resourcefulness, and professionalism were simply outstanding. From the very first meeting, it was evident that I was in the hands of an extremely smart and powerful legal expert. He exudes confidence and knowledge, much like Harvey Specter from the TV show "The Suite." Mr. Raphael's ability to navigate the complexities of my case was nothing short of impressive, just like Harvey Specter's prowess in the legal world. What sets Mr. Raphael apart is not just his legal acumen, but also his friendly and respectful demeanor. He was not only a brilliant attorney but also a personable and approachable professional who truly cared about my well-being. He went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and informed throughout the legal process. Furthermore, Mr. Raphael's reputation in the legal community is impeccable. He is highly respected and admired for his expertise, just like Harvey Specter is on the TV show. Mr. Raphael's dedication to his clients and his commitment to upholding the law make him a force to be reckoned with in the legal world. In summary, my experience with Mr. Bruce Raphael was not just satisfactory; it was exceptional. His intelligence, resourcefulness, friendliness, and professionalism make him the Harvey Specter of the legal world. I am extremely grateful for his guidance and support throughout my case, and I highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a powerful, intelligent, and passionate attorney. Thank you, Mr. Raphael, for your outstanding representation and unwavering dedication to justice. Widly J Timoleon III

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of West Bridgewater, Massachusetts?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
