There is so much I can say about Attorney Callahan. After 20 years of marriage and two years of hell trying to solidify the split, I was legally divorced in January of 2018 by way of a lawyer within Attorney Callahan’s practice. When my ex decided that he was so bitter that he was not willing to honor the divorce decree by signing the mortgage papers for a short sale so that my child and I wouldn’t become homeless due to a foreclosure I had to call on Attorney David Callahan again in November of 2018. Although I am certain Attorney Callahan has a very capable team I specifically asked for him to represent me because I knew I needed representation that was able to be navigate dealing with an unreasonable defendant. Attorney Callahan kept me in the loop through the entire process. Once we got started I felt protected and at ease having him in my corner. He knows his field and he knows people, he will not sugar coat things but will really look at all angles and will consult with you about all the specifics to get the best end results. He has heart but his strategy, knowledge and seriousness makes him great at playing hard ball when he has to. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional; He has a certain ora about him that exudes confidence and an air of authority but also practicality. He is impressively calm with a steady demeanor which helped dissolve very tense situations. He could, however, be appropriately and methodically aggressive/tough when necessary (which is what you need if you’re dealing with an irrational spouse who is pro se). In all honestly, I was at my very last breath…the edge of the cliff…the end of the rope. At the end of the day, results are what matters. Attorney Callahan was great—I had a very difficult divorce and my ex made it a point to be difficult every step of the way. I was completely satisfied with his work. The most important is that as a single mother adjusting to one income he was considerate of my financial situation and was worth every penny that I invested in hiring him for his services. My life has changed for the better because of Attorney Callahan and I am able to move forward. Don’t pass him up or you might find him across the table as your adversary and that will not be a comfortable seat for you.

Going through a divorce isn't fun for anyone. Mood swings change from helpless to anger at a moment's notice. It's just part of the process. Having David on my side was the best decision I made. He stepped in at the last minute (when mediation talks broke down unexpectedly) and quickly got things back on track. He explained everything I needed to know, every step of the way. When I was spitting fire at something my ex said or did, he was able to make me see the bigger picture. When I felt like this was never going to end, he helped me see the proverbial light. But most important, he laid out the process, set up expectations and then delivered what he promised with no unpleasant surprises. And, he's a nice guy to talk with. At the end of the day, he was worth every penny. I hope I don't ever go through this again, but if you need a great divorce attorney you don't need to look any further.

I would have given less than 1 star if given the opportunity. What a disgrace to women in general to be represented by another woman telling them "how lucky they are to be able to get X" Lauren should be down right ashamed of herself and her inability to see a clients needs throughout its entirety. I truly believe if you do not believe in your profession or that you work for your clients then you should exit the field!
