I just went through my first, and hopefully last, divorce and it was not a pleasant process. I had no idea what kind of representation I needed, but being on a budget, I was offered a discounted rate for a divorce lawyer through my employer. Needless to say, I was represented by a firm that could not meet my needs, nor handle the opposition. It was turning ugly and I knew I needed a change. I turned to Google and searched for super lawyers, luckily, I found Bergeron / Burgess Law Firm. Attorney Bergeron quickly picked up my case, listened to my wants, and provided realistic expectations. She had a very short turn around before we due in court and made herself readily available and was beyond supportive. In addition, she was financially considerate. This was accomplished by listening to my wants, providing me various choices on how to achieve my wants, and then broke down how much would most likely be spent per choice. She wasn’t one to drag out the process and kept me focus on my goals. I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer to represent me throughout this divorce process.
